Traer al lienzo a la Naturaleza con su música, con sus colores y matices, las emociones humanas, los amores, las pérdidas que nos habitan o deshabitan en el cada día no es simple para el pintor. Transferir todo aquello a la Palabra tampoco lo es. Para mi, la Poesía es mi vía de reconciliación con el humano. Es aquello que me permite comprender e intentar vivir la Compasión frente a nuestra condición humana cuando el egoísmo, el egocentrismo, el etnocentrismo, la soberbia y la arrogancia nos inundan. Mi fantasía y proposición es que la Poesía debiera ser parte integral en cada facultad universitaria. Con su conocimiento veríamos que no hay Otros, sino Iguales. Iguales con sexos y géneros diferentes, iguales con corazones que laten, con miedos en nuestras almas. Iguales en nuestra forma de observar, de cantar, de transformar el relato del sentimiento humano: la Poesía. Por sobretodo la Belleza de la Palabra, su música, el galope de sus sílabas y letras, los torrentes de versos alados y gotas de rocío.
