It would be impossible to do justice to this short, well-articulated work by Charles Haddon Spurgeon. It is, without a doubt, one of the greatest non canonical treatises ever penned. With no unmerited terms Spurgeon lays out the understanding of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Through his great and passionate love for his Savior and with his desire to see his fellow sinners come to Christ, Spurgeon brings forth on every page and in every phrase of this marvelous book the clear and concise action of the Gospel. It is brought forth to his readers with clear illustrations and well-placed anecdotes that describes for the sinner his desire for them to get right with the most high God.

HE WHO SPOKE and wrote this message will be greatly disappointed if it does not lead many to the Lord Jesus. It is sent forth in childlike dependence upon the power of God the Holy Ghost, to use it in the conversion of millions, if so He pleases. No doubt many poor men and women will take up this little volume, and the Lord will visit them with grace. To answer this end, the very plainest language has been chosen, and many homely expressions have been used. But if those of wealth and rank should glance at this book, the Holy Ghost can impress them also; since that which can be understood by the unlettered is none the less attractive to the instructed. Oh that some might read it who will become great winners of souls!Who knows how many will find their way to peace by what they read here? A more important question to you, dear reader, is this-Will you be one of them? A certain man placed a fountain by the wayside, and he hung up a cup near to it by a little chain. He was told some time after that a great art-critic had found much fault with its design. "But," said he, "do many thirsty persons drink at it?" Then they told him that thousands of poor people, men, women, and children, slaked their thirst at this fountain; and he smiled and said, that he was little troubled by the critic's observation, only he hoped that on some sultry summer's day the critic himself might fill the cup, and be refreshed, and praise the name of the Lord. Here is my fountain, and here is my cup: find fault if you please; but do drink of the water of life. I only care for this. I had rather bless the soul of the poorest crossing-sweeper, or rag-gatherer, than please a prince of the blood, and fail to convert him to God. Reader, do you mean business in reading these pages? If so, we are agreed at the outset; but nothing short of your finding Christ and Heaven is the business aimed at here. Oh that we may seek this together! I do so by dedicating this little book with prayer. Will not you join me by looking up to God, and asking Him to bless you while you read? Providence has put these pages in your way, you have a little spare time in which to read them, and you feel willing to give your attention to them. These are good signs. Who knows but the set time of blessing is come for you? At any rate, "The Holy Ghost saith, Today, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." Volume 71- Biography: A Marvelous Ministry Charles Spurgeon (19 June 1834 – 31 January 1892) is one of the church’s most famous preachers and Christianity’s foremost prolific writers. Called the “Prince of Preachers,” he was one of England's most notable ministers for most of the second half of the nineteenth century, and he still remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations today. His sermons have spread all over the world, and his many printed works have been cherished classics for decades. In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to more than 10 million people, often up to ten times each week. He was the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle) in London for 38 years. He was an inexhaustible author of various kinds of works including sermons, commentaries, an autobiography, as well as books on prayer, devotionals, magazines, poetry, hymns and more. Spurgeon was known to produce powerful sermons of penetrating thought and divine inspiration, and his oratory and writing skills held his audiences spellbound. Many Christians have discovered Spurgeon's messages to be among the best in Christian literature. Edward Walford wrote in Old and New London: Volume 6 (1878) quoting an article from the Times regarding one of Spurgeon’s meetings at Surrey: “Fancy a congregation consisting of 10,000 souls, streaming into the hall, mounting the galleries, humming, buzzing, and swarming—a mighty hive of bees—eager to secure at first the best places, and, at last, any place at all. After waiting more than half an hour—for if you wish to have a seat you must be there at least that space of time in advance—Mr. Spurgeon ascended his tribune. To the hum, and rush, and trampling of men, succeeded a low, concentrated thrill and murmur of devotion, which seemed to run at once, like an electric current, through the breast of every one present, and by this magnetic chain the preacher held us fast bound for about two hours. It is not my purpose to give a summary of his discourse. It is enough to say of his voice, that its power and volume are sufficient to reach every one in that vast assembly; of his language, that it is neither high-flown nor homely; of his style, that it is at times familiar, at times declamatory, but always happy, and often eloquent; of his doctrine, that neither the 'Calvinist' nor the 'Baptist' appears in the forefront of the battle which is waged by Mr. Spurgeon with relentless animosity, and with Gospel weapons, against irreligion, cant, hypocrisy, pride, and those secret bosom-sins which so easily beset a man in daily life; and to sum up all in a word, it is enough to say of the man himself, that he impresses you with a perfect conviction of his sincerity.” More than a hundred years after his death, Charles Spurgeon’s legacy continues to effectively inspire the church around the world. For this reason, Delmarva Publications has chosen to publish the complete works of Charles Spurgeon.

Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a British minister known as the "Prince of Preachers" whose writings are considered classics and are still in high-demand today. He preached to over 10 million people in his lifetime and published thousands of sermons, besides starting a College for Pastors as well as orphanages for boys and girls. This special 3-in-1 edition includes some of his most popular works that expounded the Gospel: ALL OF GRACE - One of C. H. Spurgeon's most well-known and beloved works, "All of Grace" sets forth the Good News of God's grace to sinners. An evangelistic work that uses Scripture, stories and experiences to share God's grace and justification by faith in an easy-to-understand and personal way. ACCORDING TO PROMISE - written in a similar style to "All of Grace," this work expounds who believers are in Christ and the great promises available because of Jesus. IN DEFENSE OF CALVINISM - a brief but important reflection on Calvinism. Not so much a work of apologetics as a thoughtful summary of the important truths of Calvinism.

Limited Time Promotional Offer All of Grace - Charles Spurgeon "It is not the object of this book to ask anything of you, but to tell you that salvation is ALL OF GRACE, which means, free, gratis, for nothing." Charles Spurgeon is a cornerstone of the Christian religion. A preacher and teacher, his sermons have spread all over the world and his many printed works have been treasured classic for decades. All of Grace is a simple and eloquent presentation of basic salvation through grace alone. Spurgeon wants readers only to consume his work and ponder it, he asks nothing in return because he believes in the power of God to bring unbelievers to Him. Spurgeon brings the gospel to his readers with pointed illustrations, well-placed anecdotes, irrefutable arguments, heart-felt pleas, and (above all else) the plainly-spoken and rightly-applied word of God. This short and easy read is both a perfect introduction to salvation and an assurance of it for unbelievers and the saved alike. In the last line, Spurgeon beseeches readers to accept salvation now and "Meet me in heaven." Charles Haddon Spurgeon (19 June 1834 - 31 January 1892) was a British Particular Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers". Spurgeon was to 19th century England what D. L Moody was to America. Although Spurgeon never attended theological school, by the age of twenty-one he was the most popular preacher in London. A strong figure in the Reformed Baptist tradition, defending the Church in agreement with the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith understanding, and opposing the liberal and pragmatic theological tendencies in the Church of his day, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times each week at different places. Spurgeon was the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle) in London for 38 years, despite the fact he was part of several controversies with the Baptist Union of Great Britain and later had to leave the denomination. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally, and he also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him posthumously. Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works, including sermons, an autobiography, commentaries, books on prayer, devotionals, magazines, poetry, hymns and more.

Many consider Spurgeon to be probably the greatest, and most influential, preacher that Britain has ever produced. Thousands flocked to his church every week at the turn of the 20th Century. Millions have since read his words through his sermons and books in print. It is a fair assumption that Spurgeon has had more of his words published than any other Christian Minister. Why? because Spurgeon is direct, clear and concerned about his readers. Here is the foundation of Spurgeon's ministry - his desire to see people come to trust Jesus so that they can spend eternity with God in heaven. It is a personal, passionate plea to you to consider where you are spiritually and the consequences of that. Spurgeon points you to how Jesus can provide security against your moral failings in front of a holy God, whom one day you will meet. Book jacket.

- annotated with Scripture references for study- updated punctuation and grammar All of Grace is C.H. Spurgeon's easy-to-understand presentation of salvation through Christ's grace alone. The title is a bit misleading because the word "of" was used differently in his day than it is today. A true modernization of the title would be "All By Grace", for that is the central message of this book. It is not a quantification of grace ('all' as opposed to 'some'), but rather a declaration of salvation's very source. Indeed, Spurgeon himself writes at the outset, "...it is not the object of this book to ask anything of you, but to tell you that salvation is ALL OF GRACE, which means, free, gratis, for nothing." The book is based on Romans 5:20, "Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound" and is perhaps Spurgeon's most famous written work. It's also a great place to begin your acquaintance with this giant of the Christian faith. Known as the "Prince of Preachers", Spurgeon's messages transcended denominational lines. And they have also reached millions of spiritually hungry souls for generations since his death. This probably would not have surprised him in the least, since his expectations of the Holy Spirit were always extremely high. In the first line of All of Grace, Spurgeon writes, "He who spoke and wrote this message will be greatly disappointed if it does not lead many to the Lord Jesus." Yet, the source of his boldness and confidence was never belief in his own talents and abilities. On the contrary, it was his humble awareness of his own sin and need for Christ's indwelling Spirit which enabled him to minister so mightily to others. "...I have myself been hunted by this wolf (temptation). A man might as well hope to fight a swarm of flies with a sword as to master his own thoughts when they are set on by the devil." All of Grace, p.5 We share Spurgeon's hopeful confidence that your reading of this book is but the first step on a path set before you by the Holy Spirit, leading back to Him. To that end, we have slightly modernized the text for ease of modern use and footnoted many Scripture references for further study and meditation, all while maintaining the utmost vigilance in our adherence to its unabridged original form and intent. My God bless and honor your actions today as you take this earnest step of faith in response to Him.
