Siempre he afirmado que el trabajo intelectual es una empresa colectiva. Este libro pretende ser una modesta contribución para una mejor comprensión de uno de los pensadores que más influyeron en la consolidación de la teoría democrática a lo largo del siglo xx: Norberto Bobbio (1909-2004). Autor de cerca de dos mil escritos entre libros, ensayos, prefacios, reseñas, entrevistas y artículos varios,1 los intereses académicos del profesor de la Universidad de Turín abarcan distintos campos del saber: desde la filosofía del derecho a la filosofía política, desde los estudios culturales a la teoría de los derechos humanos, desde las investigaciones sobre la paz y la guerra a sus propuestas sobre el socialismo liberal, desde la sociología a la ciencia política.
