Mai come oggi si parla di salute e di benessere, probabilmente perché si percepisce la mancanza di entrambi. In Occidente è così. L’etica si affaccia alla riflessione umana rivestita con i panni di un’etica filosofica, prima ancora che ulteriormente aggettivata, essendo una terminologia che rimanda, come è risaputo, ad Aristotele. Esse segundo volume da Introdução à Ética Filosófica [o primeiro foi publicado em 26 de agosto de 1999, sob o título Escritos de Filosofia IV - Introdução à Ética filosófica 1] será dedicado à exposição sistemática dos princípios e categorias que estruturam a Ética como ciência do ethos. O alvo agora em vista é verificar teoricamente essa estrutura conceptual, desenvolvendo-a num discurso cuja unidade deverá obedecer a um princípio unificador: a própria práxis humana na forma da Razão prática, regida por invariantes ônticos que a constituem como tal, independentemente das particularidades históricas, culturais, conjunturais ou individuais que condicionam seu exercício. Reconhecer esses invariantes e organizá-los em discurso logicamente ordenado, expressão da ontologia de nosso ser ético, é a tarefa da Ética filosófica. O roteiro aqui proposto pretende orientar-se numa direção sistemático-construtiva, tentando construir a identidade ética do indivíduo segundo os invariantes conceptuais que a constituem e a partir dos quais o indivíduo se articula com a comunidade ética e se abre ao universo ético no qual sua vida pode realizar-se segundo os padrões de razoabilidade e sensatez que lhe permitem alcançar sua ipseidade ou seu pleno desenvolvimento como pessoa moral. Leva-se ainda em conta a estrutura dialética interna do conceito ou da categoria segundo os momentos da universalidade, da particularidade, e da singularidade e a tríplice dimensão do operar e do existir humanos ou sua auto-expressão na tríplice forma subjetiva, intersubjetiva e objetiva, cuja integração existencial numa unidade dinâmica permite ao indivíduo viver plenamente sua natureza de ser moral.
