El gran problema para poder leer el evangelio de Marcos son los prejuicios y sobre todo, que se lee a la luz de los evangelios de Mateo y sobre todo de las películas. Una lectura así, les alejará de lo que realmente el evangelio de Marcos quiere decir. Tenga en cuenta, que Marcos es el primer evangelio, anterior a los restantes tres evangelios (Mateo, Lucas y Juan) y fuente, por lo menos, de Mateo y Lucas.Este libro no es un comentario versículo por versículo ni párrafo por párrafo, que es lo ideal para hacer un estudio exhaustivo. Ni hago uso de la exegesis histórico crítico, porque no pretendo complejizar el estudio y nos apartaría de la intencionalidad del autor, que es presentar el texto en su conjunto para una determinada situación eclesial. Lo que pretendo es presentar un libro panorámico y profundo a la vez usando por un lado las coordenas históricas del autor (indispensable para una exegesis sería) y el uso de las técnicas literarias como la narrativa cuyo uso en la actualidad debe ser profusa si realmente queremos llegar al autor y su intencionalidad, pues a través de ella nos va presentando y desarrollando a la vez al personaje principal de su relato, Jesús, el hijo de Dios
