Дан обзор результатов десятилетних экспериментальных и теоретических исследований пространственно-временной изменчивости характеристик атмосферных аэрозолей в Сибири на локальном, региональном и глобальном уровнях. Приведены данные о спектре размеров и химическом составе, счетной и массовой концентрациях атмосферных аэрозолей в исследуемом регионе, суточной и сезонной изменчивости исследуемых характеристик в различных почвенно-климатических зонах Сибири. Описана методика идентификации источников техногенного и естественного происхождения. Проведена оценка техногенной нагрузки в различных почвенно-климатических районах. Изложены климатические особенности проявления кислотных выпадений в южных и северных районах Сибири. Показано, что северные территории Сибири в большей степени подвержены антропогенному влиянию. Сформулированы теоретические модели для расчета загрязнения окружающей среды на локальном, региональном и глобальном уровнях, а также для описания образования и эволюции характеристик субмикронной фракции, связанной с фотохимической конверсией газообразных примесей в аэрозольные частицы. Приведены данные о составе биогенной компоненты АА Сибири, а также газоаэрозольной эмиссии от лесных пожаров.Для специалистов в области физики и химии атмосферы, биогеохимической экологии и охраны окружающей среды, а также для студентов и аспирантов вузов.
