Fluid Flow And Heat Transfer Science And Engineering written by Emilia Lloyd and has been published by Clanrye International this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-09-26 with Science categories.

Fluid flow and heat transfer processes play a significant role in various fields of engineering and science from microscopic to the planetary scale. Heat transfer can be improved by using nanofluids. The problem with fluid flow occurs because of a continuously moving surface in an ambient fluid, which differs from the fluid that flows past a fixed surface. Fluid flow problems in the absence of chemical reactions and electromagnetic forces involve thermal and mechanical variables only. There are three methods or techniques that are utilized to address problems in fluid mechanics and heat transfer, namely, numerical methods, experimental methods, and theoretical methods. This book aims to shed light on the science and engineering of fluid flow and heat transfer. It consists of contributions made by international experts. This book will serve as a reference to a broad spectrum of readers.

Numerical Modelling And Experimental Testing Of Heat Exchangers written by Dawid Taler and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-05-17 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This book presents new methods of numerical modelling of tube heat exchangers, which can be used to perform design and operation calculations of exchangers characterized by a complex flow system. It also proposes new heat transfer correlations for laminar, transition and turbulent flows. A large part of the book is devoted to experimental testing of heat exchangers, and methods for assessing the indirect measurement uncertainty are presented. Further, it describes a new method for parallel determination of the Nusselt number correlations on both sides of the tube walls based on the nonlinear least squares method and presents the application of computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modeling to determine the air-side Nusselt number correlations. Lastly, it develops a control system based on the mathematical model of the car radiator and compares this with the digital proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller. The book is intended for students, academics and researchers, as well as for designers and manufacturers of heat exchangers.
