Radiative decays of the radically excited charmonium resonance, [psi](2S), into [pi][pi], K{bar K} and [eta][eta] final states have been measured in a sample of 3.96 x 106 [psi](2S) events collected by the BES collaboration. The branching ratios B([psi](2S) 2![gamma]f2(1270)) = (2.27 ± 0.26 ± 0.39) x 10−4 and B([psi](2S) 2![gamma]f0(1710)) x B(f0(1710) 2!KK−) = (5.59 ± 1.12 ± 0.93) x 10−5 are obtained. When compared to the corresponding radiative J/[psi] decays, the observed [psi](2S) radiative decay rates into [gamma]f2(1270) and [gamma]f0(1710) are consistent with the ''15%'' rule.

An experimental study of the decays of the psi'(3684) to other charmonium states is reported. The decays of 106 psi'(3684)'s were observed with the SLAC-LBL Mark II detector at the ee− storage ring SPEAR. Branching ratios have been measured for psi'(3684) decays to .gamma. chi where the chi decays to .gamma. psi(3095) or to hadrons. An upper limit of 0.13% is set on the branching ratio for psi' .-->. .gamma. chi(3455) .-->. .gamma gamma. psi(3095); this is a factor of 6 less than the branching ratio measured by a previous less sensitive experiment. The decay psi' .-->. .gamma. eta/sub c/, eta/sub c/ .-->. hadrons is investigated. The decay psi' .-->. .pi.°psi, which violates isospin conservation, is observed with a branching ratio of (0.15+-0.06)%.

Results of studies of selected radiative decays of the psi' to charmonium and non-charmonium states which decay into photons are presented. These studies were performed using a sample of 1.8 x 106 produced psi''s collected by the Crystal Ball detector at the SPEAR electron-positron storage ring. The branching ratios of the chi0, chi2, and eta'/sub c/ to two photons have been measured to be (4.5 +- 2.2 +- 2.0) x 10−4, (9.5 +- 2.9 +- 4.5) x 10−4 (first errors statistical, second systematic), and 1 x 10−2 (90% C.L.). The signal from the decay chain psi' .--. .gamma.chi0, chi0 .-->. .pi.°.pi.° has been observed with essentially no background. Using the observed line shape of the radiative photon in this reaction, the full width of the psi0 has been found to be 8.8 +- 1.3 +- 1.5 MeV/c2. In addition, the branching ratios of the chi0 and chi2 to .pi.°.pi.° have been measured to be (3.5 +- 0.3 +- 1.2) x 10−3 and (1.2 +- 0.2 +- 0.4) x 10−3; the branching ratios of the chi0 and chi2 to eta eta have been measured to be (2.8 +- 0.9 +- 1.3) x 10−3 and (8.4 +- 4.2 +- 4.0) x 10−4. The decays of the psi' to four non-charmonium states have been investigated. The branching ratios and upper limits of these decays have been normalized to the branching ratios of the corresponding decays from the J/psi which have been measured using a sample of 2.2 x 106 produced J/psi's collected by the Crystal Ball detector. The ratios of the psi' branching ratios to the J/psi branching ratios for the final states .gamma.eta, .gamma.eta', .gamma.theta, and .gamma.f have been measured to be

In a study of B 2!J/[psi][gamma]K decays, they find evidence for the radiative decay X(3872) 2!J/[psi][gamma] with a statistical significance of 3.4[sigma]. They measure the product of branching fractions [Beta](B+ 2!X(3872)K+) · [Beta](X(3872) 2!J/[psi][gamma]) = (3.3 ± 1.0 ± 0.3) x 10−6, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. They also measure the branching fraction [Beta](B+ 2![chi]{sub c1}K+) = (4.9 ± 0.20 ± 0.4) x 10−4. These results are obtained from (287 ± 3) million B{bar B} decays collected at the [Upsilon](4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B Factory at SLAC.
