When couples take the plunge into marriage they expect to ride off into the sunset as Prince and Princess living happily ever after. There's no warning that once the vows are said they cross over into another dimension called "the War Zone." We have been given many parables from this physical world in order to comprehend the spiritual realm. God's love, provision, plan, and protection is taught through family - father, mother, and the joy of birthing children. Seeds teach of death to the old life and resurrection to new life. But the most intriguing analogy, and the subject of this study, is the marvelous army within our own bodies, born in the bone marrow, protecting us from the vile, invisible enemies that would deal us misery and even death. The Immune System silently, sacrificially, keeps vigil over the body in which it lives. The body, in turn, nourishes that immune system, keeping it strong that it may do the job for which it was designed. It is a powerful, living parable which incredibly illustrates how a marriage is to remain healthy and vibrant. The key is a marvelous immune system designed by our Creator, born in Adam's own rib. This book is a Bible study in "letter" format to married women - novices and seasoned veterans. It is an unusual analogy comparing the human immune system to the role a wife was created to perform in her marriage. Bacteria is compared to the spiritual temptations that attack mankind, protozoa to the evil in this world, and viruses to the deceitful lies and false doctrines Satan has used through the centuries to kill, steal and destroy. The Bible uses marriage as an analogy of the relationship between Christ and His Church; it is no wonder that Satan has focused his assault on the destruction of marriage and its ruined testimonies. Eve was created to be Adam's Help, yet she succumbed to the lie and became the avenue into which Satan was allowed access to bring death to them both. Lessons learned from her life are priceless. Woman has a spiritual role to perform and must understand the enemy and her own responsibilities better than Eve. We have the advantage of exploring this great mystery through the Scriptures and acquiring the proper training from the Holy Spirit. The Author of Life has written a fantastic Script for woman! This book asks the question to all who have entered the War Zone, or are about to: are you willing to be trained for this warfare to keep your marriage healthy or will you be used by the enemy to destroy it?
