Why did Jesus spend forty days on earth after his death when he could have returned home to the majesty of heaven? And out of all the people on the planet at that time who could have helped him get a major religious movement off the ground, why did he seek out those who had run the other way when he was crucified? In this fascinating book, Jo Kadlecek shows readers how the disciples who saw Jesus after his death were changed from sometimes bumbling scaredy-cats to pillars of the Christian faith. She invites readers to experience their own transformation in every part of life--relationships, jobs, finances, family, and more--as they come to a new understanding and appreciation of the basis of the faith: the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It's the Subtleties that Matter! What is the real difference between competent leader and extraordinary executive? Is it pedigree, experience, intelligence? The answer is yes...and much more. Exceptional leadership hinges on a complex interaction between individual psychology and unique business needs. At the top rung of the ladder, where the dynamics are most complicated, subtle adjustments in style can produce outstanding results. In his new book, The Intangibles of Leadership, Management Psychologist Richard Davis, Ph.D., uncovers patterns in the attributes that truly distinguish those who succeed at the top. What he found was that extraordinary leaders possess certain characteristics that fall between the lines of existing leadership models, yet are fundamental to executive success. Davis explains each of these qualities, the people who exemplify them, how to detect them in others, and most importantly, how to develop the subtle characteristics that will enable them to stand out from the pack. Learn why... It's often better to aim for silver than for gold Playing hard to get attracts people to you It's important to have a slightly inflated view of your abilities Your peripheral vision is so important It's ok to get angry with your team So many extraordinary executives have gone through crises early in their lives

Stand Up written by René Banglesdorf and has been published by Morgan James Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-01-01 with Self-Help categories.

Stand Up addresses the growing need for women to enter the narrative of how American culture is presently being shaped and leave their mark on a world screaming for relevance, excellence, and truth. Divisiveness and double standards have overrun our culture. If everyone stands up and models decency, courage, and good manners, communities and families will flourish. Stand Up is a battle cry for women to take a posture of readiness and action, determine their purpose, plan for successes, and overcome the loneliness that threatens this silent majority. René Banglesdorf, an entrepreneur, encourages women to exemplify good behavior in the areas of temptation, forgiveness, and hypocrisy—three areas that threaten especially Christian women’s credibility in a searching world. Stand Up explains how women who want to leave a legacy can repurpose their fears, recover from failures, get what they want out of life, and press on to fulfill their destiny. The unique perspective from a female executive in a 99-percent-male-dominated role—who spent many of her career-development years as a stay-at-home mom—compels women of all ages to believe the best can be ahead of them if they indeed stand up, stand out, and stand firm in their beliefs.

Faith written by Anthony D. Montgomery and has been published by Xlibris Corporation this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-06-21 with Religion categories.

In the book Finding Answers in The Holy Ghost, author Anthony D. Montgomery presents a detailed illustration of the various ways the Holy Ghost enable the Christian to overcome any trial. Too often has God been placed in a one sided view to appease the followers of a movement; however you will see after finishing the book that this gift was preordained to break the constraints of the devil. He addresses almost every instance of the dealings of the Holy Ghost in the lives of all mankind. God remains the central inert that alone can perform how He wants when He wants. He contends that the recipe to seeing the Holy Ghost move doesnt contend on anything but God Himself. You will travel through the different verses and get a solid foundation to the workings of Jesus. While exploring the intenseness of time, characters and central theme, there will be no doubt left that God alone is in full control of His creation. The book reminds us constantly that we are sheep with one Shepherd that left the Holy Ghost to us. The only bias is that in Him we move and have our very being. Anthony focus from beginning to end that God and Him alone is the only one that has power to produce change in our lives. People have tried to the best of their ability to explain what faith is and almost in every instance they fail because they fall short of attaching it to its source Jesus. Faith must have an object and that object is Jesus! Jesus is the only deity that has remained constant in His being able to help mankind. Although we cant unquestionably explain Him does not negate the fact that He is real. Many people think when they succeed in life it comes from luck; but the Christian must understand that his success comes from a prepared Savior that died for us. Jesus left a lasting message that He did not live to see; however He was assured it would come to past. Not only did He leave us as irrevocable beneficiaries; but the policy gave us innumerable indemnities that continue to pay benefits even after death. While reading through the book there is a constant reminder of a saying he heard as an early convert: never study to get a message, read God word and He will give you a message. Our life is a reflection of the message of salvation redeemed from the gift of our Savior. The recorded events of the Bible are detailed to show us that God is neither offensive nor defensive; on the contrary, He is Alpha and Omega. He doesnt respond like man as if He was caught off guard to the situation; He knew it would happen and had a response prepared in every case. By knowing what will happen; the all knowing Savior only allow what He knows will move us closer to His purpose. This book will keep you focused on Jesus and remove all doubt to His omnipresence. When you understand that God is the source; you wont get angry at the trials. Faith is the gift that we have that can take us from natural to supernatural through obedience. While reading you can take time to reflect as Anthony uses illustrations to what God is revealing to him through the text. The anointing is reflected with how God uses him to keep it simple when explaining Gods word. God intended for us to always pray and leave our future in His hand. The theme of this book is central in its focus to Jesus and His righteousness.

Fear And Trust written by David Runcorn and has been published by SPCK this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-11-30 with Religion categories.

The ancient people of Israel and contemporary Western society share a preoccupation with the idea of leadership. In this perceptive and engaging book, David Runcorn reveals just how deeply one world can speak to the other. The story of 1 and 2 Samuel opens with a woman weeping. But grief is often the precursor of change, and the answering of Hannah's prayer is revealed in her song as a prophetic sign of God's ways in all the world. As the author then helps us reflect on various revealing episodes, time and again, he enables us to trace the true presence of God in the words, actions or faithful endurance of people on the edge of the 'main' script. And, he suggests, it is in the kind of honest, disciplined attentiveness they display, that the greatest hope for leadership will be found today.
