Saat ini gaya hidup halal sudah mewabah ke seluruh penjuru dunia, bukan hanya neraga muslim saja, akan tetapi negara-negara di Benua Eropa sudah banyak menerapkan gaya hidup halal, seperti fashion maupun produk-produk makanan halal. Indonesia adalah negara mayoritas muslim yang jumlah penduduk terbesarnya adalah generasi Z. Penerapan gaya hidup pada generasi Z masih dikategorikan belum konsisten, seperti halnya dalam memperhatikan keberadaan label halal dikarenakan masih ada anggapan keyakinan bahwa mengonsumsi produk tersebut sudah halal tanpa memperhatikan keberadaan label halal tersebut. Begitu juga persepsi dalam penggunaan produk kosmetik kecantikan dimana label halal bukan menjadi faktor utama dalam memilih produk kecantikan. Hal ini ditandai dengan tingginya sifat konsumtif yang dimiliki.
