Born in Oakland, California in 1927 the author received his High School education in California before joining the Marines at 17 before the end of WW 2. While pursuing vocal studies in Los Angeles he accepted an LDS Mission starting in Buffalo, NY. Finding many inconsistencies among missionaries he concluded to get his own witness. With 3 days of fasting and prayer he read the BOM relying on Moroni's promise of asking God to reveal the truth of the BOM. Positive confirmation never came. The Mission President advised him to complete his mission saying he needn't teach anything he didn't believe. A missionary chorus was formed and the choice made to tour his final months as soloist with the Utah Centennial Chorus. After his mission he appeared in a Broadway Musical. He left for Milan, Italy in 1952 meeting his future wife on the ship. After his operatic debut in Spain, successful engagements followed that soon led to Berlin and a three year contract at the Vienna State Opera. While singing in Rome a screen test led to Director William Wyler choosing Claude for the role of Jesus in the Academy Award film 'Ben Hur'. After the 'Ben Hur' experience Claude made another BOM attempt with a 3 day fast/prayer at the Holy Trinity chapel of St. Catherine Monastery at Mount Sinai, Egypt. As Dramatic Tenor he sang opposite such sopranos as Birgit Nilsson, Renata Tabaldi, Joan Southerland; as Tristan, Otello, Siegfried, Parsifal etc; at Bayreuth, La Scala and most major European opera houses. After retiring, he attended his local Ward with family, becoming counselor in the Sunday school until he felt enough was enough. Conducting a Testimony meeting he bore his lack of testimony publicly asking for excommunication as the only way to remove oneself from church rolls.

The warming of Earth’s surface that has occurred since 1880 has been grossly over stated and attributed entirely to carbon dioxide, based on a preposterous assumption. That assumption is: All of the warming of earth’s surface temperature during the last 140 years is due to accumulation of carbon dioxide and other minor greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. The level of carbon dioxide has increased from 290 ppm to 411 ppm. That is an increase of 121 ppm, from 0.029% to 0.041% of the atmosphere. There are other environmental forces which are much stronger, more prevalent, and active in regulating and modulating the earth’s surface temperature than carbon dioxide. These forces are, in order of impact: First, The sun; Second; The earth’s waters, Third; Heat from the earth’s core, Fourth, Atmospheric aerosols, and Fifth, Carbon dioxide and the other minor greenhouse gases. While carbon dioxide is an extremely important substance in the support of life on this planet its contribution to the greenhouse effect is a “bit part” not a “leading role”. There are three fatally flawed assumptions and six Fatal Flaws at the heart of the Global Warming theory. Each is discussed in this book,; the flaws identified and evidence presented. These Flaws originated, when, in forming the “Theory of Global Warming,” the contributions of the four most important environmental forces involved in the control of the Earth’s surface temperature were assumed to have had no effect on the warming trend. Because of the single dimension models used in climate research the contributions of these four climate controlling forces are mistakenly credited to climate forcing by carbon dioxide. The remaining two fatal flaws concern carbon dioxide, its roles and fate in nature. The contents of this work will challenge what most people believe about the global warming theory. Why This Book? Why Now? The control of the earth’s climate, including the temperature of the earth’s surface and near earth atmosphere, is a complex, intricate, and beautiful system of interactions between a number of forces. These controlling factors, their interactions, and the rate and extent of those interactions, are all variables which contribute to the control of the earth’s climate, including its surface temperature. I first became aware of the "Theory of Global Warming" in the late 1980's when I first found the document: (Hansen, J.E., and S. Lebedeff, 1987: Global trends of measured surface air temperature. J. Geophys. Res., 92;13345-13372). As a fruit grower during my youth; A professional horticultural researcher who had worked on different methods of frost control in fruit crops, and in basic research in those areas as well as related subjects; I was acutely aware of the greenhouse effect, its causes, and importance in the control of earth's surface temperature. The temperature of plant tissues, under various climatic circumstances has been something that has intrigued me and been a subject of my research for over 50 years. The small, but significant, increase in the earth's surface temperature, over the last 110 years has been attributed to slight increases in the concentration of carbon dioxide, methane, and other minor greenhouse gasses. The danger to the world's societies, of our present course, the result of attributing all the warming of earth's surface to the greenhouse impact of these minor greenhouse gasses, is real and alarming. If we utilize most of our available resources in limiting or decreasing the concentration of these minor greenhouse gasses, we will not have the resources required to deal with the real impacts of the major forces behind the warming of earth's surface, should they continue or increase. In this work you will be exposed to the truth about the flaws and fails of the global warming/climate change theory. You will read about, and see peer reviewed research that establishes the impacts of: A. The three forces which have increased the intensity of the sunlight reaching and warming the earth's surface. B. The role of the LaNina/ElNino cycle and the North Atlantic Oscillation in causing a major portion of the ice volume loss in, and warming of, the Arctic. C. The role of increasing levels of heat from the earth's core in causing significant ice volume and extent losses, across the Arctic and Antarctic. D. Changes in the amount of water vapor, liquid and ice in the atmosphere over long periods of time, and this forces contribution to changes in climatic patterns and earth's surface temperature. You will also be exposed to the climatic impacts of the increasing aerosol concentration in the atmosphere.
