L’Autore porta alla luce e descrive i vari elementi narrativi che compongono le fiabe, evidenziando in particolare l’importanza delle ambientazioni nelle quali le storie si sviluppano. Nelle fiabe appaiono spesso luoghi che mettono il protagonista in una condizione di provvisorietà, quali il bosco, il deserto o la palude. Spazi in cui le regole della convivenza umana sono inefficaci e l’essere umano è messo alla prova di fronte a se stesso e alle proprie paure ancestrali, come il timore di essere abbandonato, di perdersi o di essere mangiato. In questi luoghi appaiono capanne che ospitano solitamente delle streghe, ma nel bosco troviamo anche case collettive dove abitano confraternite di briganti, di nani, di fate, di famiglie di orsi, e così via. Cammina cammina, si trovano anche palazzi, torri e castelli incantati; posti in capo al mondo o sopra le nuvole. La capanna nel bosco, la casa degli uomini e delle loro confraternite, il castello incantato, le città o i palazzi in capo al mondo sono archetipi dell’architettura legati al mondo dei riti iniziatici. Il rapporto che accomuna l’architettura al mondo fiabesco fa emergere questi archetipi che messi a confronto rivelano le loro comuni radici storiche. Filippo Pierazzo, in Fiabe e architettura – un viaggio nell’immaginario collettivo, ci propone un saggio veramente incredibile. Frutto di un lavoro approfondito e minuzioso, sviluppa l’argomento con molta perizia, avvalorandolo di bellissime immagini. Filippo Pierazzo nasce nel 1963 a Stra, nel veneziano, dove tuttora vive e lavora. Laureato all’Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia nel 1990, la sua attività professionale di architetto lo porta in Grecia, negli Emirati Arabi Uniti e in Chad. Dal 2019 si occupa per il proprio comune di urbanistica e rigenerazione urbana. Sposato, ha due figli gemelli. Non potendo più raccontare loro fiabe perché cresciuti, ha scritto questo libro, frutto di riflessioni elaborate nel corso della sua carriera.
