Scrissero bollettini per le radio clandestine, negoziarono con i proprietari terrieri polacchi e si occuparono di gran parte dell'amministrazione della resistenza. Tuttavia questa straordinaria pagina di Storia è rimasta a lungo dimenticata e finora quasi sconosciuta. Judy Batalion, studiosa canadese e nipote di sopravvissuti all'Olocausto, oggi la riporta alla luce.
