Terdiri dari pengurus PC Fatayat NU Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, juga para pengurus dan anggota Fatayat NU MWC (Majlis Wakil Cabang) Kecamatan se-Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Buku ini adalah satu dari ragam bukti bahwa mimpi itu bisa menjadi kenyataan. Menyatukan para pengurus dan anggota, mengajak dan mendorong semua agar mau berkontribusi dan mentransformasikan gagasan menjadi buku adalah proses yang mesti disyukuri. Mereka adalah ibu-ibu yang mampu 'mencuri' waktu sesaat, menyimpan aktivitas rumah tangga untuk menyinergikan pikiran dengan mata dan tangan. Semoga kehadiran buku ini bisa menyumbang 'fikrah' bagi kemajuan NU, khususnya di Kabupatena Tasikmalaya, juga di Indonesia, juga memberi sumbangan bagi perjalanan literasi di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya.

Menyongsong Abad kedua NU, Mempertegas Kemandirian Muktamar NU insya Allah masih tujuh bulan lagi diselenggarakan. Namun, kita tidak bisa menutup mata, bahwa mulai muncul nama-nama siapa yang akan menggantikan Prof. Dr. Said Aqil Sirodj, MA, yang telah dua priode memimpin NU sejak 2010 dalam Muktamar ke 32 di Makassar. Jika tidak dibuat aturan main, mungkin bisa puluhan kandidat yang akan bersaing untuk duduk di singgasana terhormat itu. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa NU memiliki limpahan kader untuk bisa memimpin NU. Mereka semua memenuhi syarat karena faktor pendidikan, akhlak, khidmah di NU dan masyarakat, dan mungkin –tidak mutlak-- darah biru. Melihat kader NU sekarang mungkin banyak orang terhenyak. MUI saja banyak ditopang kader NU. Kader-kader NU sekarang sudah banyak yang menduduki kursi rektor perguruan tinggi (umum dan agama). Kader-kader NU telah bermunculan sebagai pejabat sejumlah instansi. Hal ini mengingatkan kita pada pernyataan Ketua Umum PBNU ketika pelantikan Ikatan Sarjana NU (ISNU) sekitar empat tahun lalu. “Jika pemerintah membutuhkan tenaga ahli, kami menyediakan di bidang apa saja.” Dan kini terbukti. Banyak orang terbelalak cengang. Sebab, jika dilihat pada saat berdiri NU tahun 1926, banyak orang yang pesimis melihat NU ini bisa eksis dan bisa hidup hampir mencapai seabad dan bahkan kini disebut sebagai organisasi terbesar di dunia, sekitar 100 juta anggota. NU semula mereka anggap semacam majelis taklim dan sekedar kumpul-kumpul kiai saja. Dalam waktu singkat akan bubar sendiri karena tak mampu menghadapi tantangan zaman. Pada saat orang bangga berpantalon, kiai NU masih bersarung dan asyik memutar tasbih. Pandangan itu bisa kita fahami. Karena NU didirikan oleh sekumpulan ulama dam tokoh pesantren yang datang pada saat itu rata-rata bersarung, berjubah dan bersorban. Ulama dikesankan oleh kalangan masyarakat kala itu sebagai orang yang hanya mengerti agama. Memimpin acara kenduri, peringatan maulid nabi, khotbah dan paling tinggi mengajar di masjid. Pada zaman penjajahan itu masyarakat tengah terpukau dengan kemoderenan yng dilambangkan dengan busana, bahasa, pendidikan dan kehidupan. Mereka ingin meniru mereka, namun tak mampu. Sesuatu yang moderen menjadi idola dan impian. Mereka yang dididik secara moderen menjadi harapan masyarakat kala itu dan dijadikan pimpinan. Apalagi pernah belajar ke Belanda.
