Isi buku ini, selain “Menyeru Nama Tuhan” dan “Doa Baca Firman Tuhan”, dua berita yang dikutip dari buklet yang diterbitkan oleh Yayasan Perpustakaan Injil, lainnya mengambil bahan dari dua volume pertama “Pelajaran Hayat”, sebanyak dua puluh empat pelajaran, diubah menjadi model penyegaran pagi, agar mudah dinikmati setiap pagi. Di satu pihak supaya kaum imani pemula sejak semula sudah membentuk kebiasaan yang indah menikmati Tuhan, menikmati susu firman, di samping itu supaya kaum imani pemula bisa segera mengetahui, mengenal, dan melaksanakan berbagai macam perkara di antara kita dengan Allah, supaya terbina, baik dalam hayat atau kebenaran, meletakkan dasar yang indah. Buku ini terdiri dari enam minggu. Setiap minggu, dari Senin sampai Sabtu, berisi bacaan yang meliputi ayat doa baca dan penguraian. Selesai pembacaan satu minggu, ada tambahan “Belajar dan Mendapatkan Terang”, dipakai untuk belajar mengevaluasi dan mencatat kesan-kesan, demikian berulang-ulang, kalau dikerjakan dengan sungguh-sungguh, pasti menikmati berkat hayat yang limpah. Buku ini seharusnya digunakan menurut “Penjelasan dan Persekutuan” yang ditulis dalam kitab “Pelajaran Hayat”. Kalau ada kaum imani yang bukan pemula, tetapi menganggap perlu ada pembinaan, buku ini juga cocok untuk mereka.
