Molecular Dynamics is a two-volume compendium of the ever-growing applications of molecular dynamics simulations to solve a wider range of scientific and engineering challenges. The contents illustrate the rapid progress on molecular dynamics simulations in many fields of science and technology, such as nanotechnology, energy research, and biology, due to the advances of new dynamics theories and the extraordinary power of today's computers. This first book begins with a general description of underlying theories of molecular dynamics simulations and provides extensive coverage of molecular dynamics simulations in nanotechnology and energy. Coverage of this book includes: Recent advances of molecular dynamics theory Formation and evolution of nanoparticles of up to 106 atoms Diffusion and dissociation of gas and liquid molecules on silicon, metal, or metal organic frameworks Conductivity of ionic species in solid oxides Ion solvation in liquid mixtures Nuclear structures

Cellular Molecular Mechanisms In Epigenetic Evolutionary Biology written by John Torday and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-02-13 with Science categories.

There has been no mechanistic explanation for evolutionary change consistent with phylogeny in the 150 years since the publication of ‘Origins’. As a result, progress in the field of evolutionary biology has stagnated, relying on descriptive observations and genetic associations rather testable scientific measures. This book illuminates the need for a larger evolutionary-based platform for biology. Like physics and chemistry, biology needs a central theory in order to frame the questions that arise, the way hypotheses are tested, and how to interpret the data in the context of a continuum. The reduction of biology to its self-referential, self-organized properties provides the opportunity to recognize the continuum from the Singularity/Big Bang to Consciousness based on cell-cell communication for homeostasis.

Mathematical Feynman Path Integrals And Their Applications written by Sonia Mazzucchi and has been published by World Scientific this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009 with Science categories.

Although more than 60 years have passed since their first appearance, Feynman path integrals have yet to lose their fascination and luster. They are not only a formidable instrument of theoretical physics, but also a mathematical challenge; in fact, several mathematicians in the last 40 years have devoted their efforts to the rigorous mathematical definition of Feynman's ideas. This volume provides a detailed, self-contained description of the mathematical difficulties as well as the possible techniques used to solve these difficulties. In particular, it gives a complete overview of the mathematical realization of Feynman path integrals in terms of well-defined functional integrals, that is, the infinite dimensional oscillatory integrals. It contains the traditional results on the topic as well as the more recent developments obtained by the author. Mathematical Feynman Path Integrals and Their Applications is devoted to both mathematicians and physicists, graduate students and researchers who are interested in the problem of mathematical foundations of Feynman path integrals.

Euclidean Quantum Gravity written by G. W. Gibbons and has been published by World Scientific this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1993 with Science categories.

The Euclidean approach to Quantum Gravity was initiated almost 15 years ago in an attempt to understand the difficulties raised by the spacetime singularities of classical general relativity which arise in the gravitational collapse of stars to form black holes and the entire universe in the Big Bang. An important motivation was to develop an approach capable of dealing with the nonlinear, non-perturbative aspects of quantum gravity due to topologically non-trivial spacetimes. There are important links with a Riemannian geometry. Since its inception the theory has been applied to a number of important physical problems including the thermodynamic properties of black holes, quantum cosmology and the problem of the cosmological constant. It is currently at the centre of a great deal of interest. This is a collection of survey lectures and reprints of some important lectures on the Euclidean approach to quantum gravity in which one expresses the Feynman path integral as a sum over Riemannian metrics. As well as papers on the basic formalism there are sections on Black Holes, Quantum Cosmology, Wormholes and Gravitational Instantons.
