A dash of sass in the kitchen is exactly what you need! My cookbook is not your typical cookbook. You will notice I do not measure everything out but instead I take an idea of a dish or two or three: ) and create my own version of the recipe. Putting your own creativity on a dish allows you to enjoy it to the fullest. We all have different tastes in herbs, spices, heat, etc so why shouldn't you cook to accommodate what it is you like. As you will notice I include a lot of pictures and I do it because I like pictures of recipes. For me pictures help me determine if I'm interested in the dish or not and it's my book so I can do what I want haha. Nothing is more satisfying when you take a dish that is good but then you put your own flavor to it and BAM you end up with a favorite that you will make time and time again.The kitchen for me, is my fun zone. We got the music is going, the counters full of ingredients and the creativity flowing. All to end up on the table to my family and friends drooling at the mouth. That is success!!! I hope my book encourages you to get creative in the kitchen and to realize not everything needs to be measured.Enjoy
