El presente manual pretende recopilar los métodos fotogramétricos más usuales para la realización de levantamientos arquitectónicos y arqueológicos. Los primeros capítulos definen los conceptos básicos en relación con el levantamiento arquitectónico, los métodos a utilizar y su evolución histórica. Así mismo, se estudian los fundamentos geométricos de la fotografía y las características principales de la fotogrametría denominada terrestre o no topográfica. En la parte central, se muestra la instrumentación que se utiliza en los diferentes métodos fotogramétricos y los procesos analíticos vinculados. Finalmente, los últimos capítulos se dedican a la representación bidimensional y tridimensional y al marco legal que protege los bienes de interés cultural. Para ilustrar alguna de las posibilidades de aplicación, se muestran diversos levantamientos efectuados mediante las diferentes técnicas fotogramétricas desarrolladas.
