This textbook explains the fundamentals of Enterprise Design. It emphasizes two separations of concerns when (re)designing enterprises to keep the work intellectually manageable. In chapter 1 the reader is introduced to the discipline of Enterprise Engineering, in which a design-oriented view is taken toward organisations.
