In dieser Publikation wird ein spezifisches Design einer phasenübergreifend konzipierten Veranstaltung in der Lehrerbildung für Studierende, Lehrkräfte im Vorbereitungsdienst und aktive Lehrkräfte, in welcher Unterricht mittels eines innovativen Lehr-Lernformats geplant und umgesetzt wurde, dargestellt. Auf empirischer Ebene erfolgte die Umsetzung durch strukturierte kooperative Lehr-Lernformen. Auf Forschungsebene fand das Paradigma der interpretativen Unterrichtsforschung Anwendung. Der Fokus der Analysen richtet sich auf die Rekonstruktion der handlungsleitenden Orientierungen mittels dokumentarischer Interpretation, welche die beteiligten Personen bei der Einführung und Umsetzung der kooperativen Lehr-Lernmethoden erkennen lassen. Es werden mögliche Typen rekonstruiert und es wird herausgearbeitet, ob diese Orientierungen phasentypischen bzw. phasenunabhängigen Erfahrungsräumen zugeordnet werden können, so dass letztendlich eine mehrdimensionale Typologie generiert werden kann. So könnte auf Grundlage der gewonnenen Ergebnisse ein theoretischer Rahmen für die Entwicklung und Erprobung von schülerorientierten Lehr-Lernformen in der Lehrerausbildung und Lehrerfortbildung im (Mathematik-)Unterricht entwickelt werden. Anne Fellmann studierte bis 1995 das Lehramt an Grund- und Hauptschulen. Nach Beendigung ihres Referendariats 1997 arbeitete sie als Lehrerin in Nordrhein-Westfalen und Hessen. Seit 2009 ist sie als Rektorin als Ausbildungsleiterin in der zweiten Phase der Lehrerbildung tätig. Im Jahr 2011 hat sie eine Erweiterungsqualifikation für das Lehramt an Haupt- und Realschulen abgelegt. Des Weiteren arbeitet sie seit 2011 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Didaktik der Mathematik und Informatik an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Seit 2012 ist sie der Abteilung Lehrerbildung in der Akademie für Bildungsforschung und Lehrerbildung (ABL) zugeordnet.

Aristocratic dynasties have long been regarded as fundamental to the development of early modern society and government. Yet recent work by political historians has increasingly questioned the dominant role of ruling families in state formation, underlining instead the continued importance and independence of individuals. In order to take a fresh look at the subject, this volume provides a broad discussion on the formation of dynastic identities in relationship to the lineage’s own history, other families within the social elite, and the ruling dynasty. Individual chapters consider the dynastic identity of a wide range of European aristocratic families including the CroÃs, Arenbergs and Nassaus from the Netherlands; the Guises-Lorraine of France; the Sandoval-Lerma in Spain; the Farnese in Italy; together with other lineages from Ireland, Sweden and the Austrian Habsburg monarchy. Tied in with this broad international focus, the volume addressed a variety of related themes, including the expression of ambitions and aspirations through family history; the social and cultural means employed to enhance status; the legal, religious and political attitude toward sovereigns; the role of women in the formation and reproduction of (composite) dynastic identities; and the transition of aristocratic dynasties to royal dynasties. In so doing the collection provides a platform for looking again at dynastic identity in early modern Europe, and reveals how it was a compound of political, religious, social, cultural, historical and individual attitudes.

The origins of the incest taboo have puzzled many of the most influential minds of the West, from Plutarch to St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, Martin Luther, David Hume, Lewis Henry Morgan, Sigmund Freud, Emile Durkheim, Edward Westermarck, and Claude Lévi-Strauss. This book puts the discussion of incest on a new foundation. It is the first attempt to thoroughly examine the rich literature, from philosophical, theological, and legal treatises to psychological and biological-genetic studies, to a wide variety of popular cultural media over a long period of time. The book offers a detailed examination of discursive and figurative representations of incest during five selected periods, from 1600 to the present. The incest discussion for each period is complemented with a presentation of dominant kinship structures and changes, without arguing for causal relations. Part I deals with the legacy of ecclesiastical marriage prohibitions of the Middle Ages: Historians dealing with the Reformation have wondered about the political and social implications of theological debates about the incest rules, the Enlightenment opted for sociological considerations of the household and a new anthropology based on the passions, Baroque discourse focused upon sexual relations among kin by marriage, while Enlightenment and Romantic discussions worried the intimacy of siblings. The first section of Part II deals with the six decades around 1900, during which European and American cultures obsessed about the sexuality of women. Almost everyone concurred in the idea that mother made the family what it was; that she configured the household, kept the lines of kinship vibrant, and stood at the threshold as stern gatekeeper, and many thought that she managed these tasks through her sexuality and an eroticized relationship with sons. Another story line, taken up in the section "Intermezzo," this one about the physical and mental consequences of inbreeding, appeared after 1850. To what extent do close-kin marriages pose risks for progeny? At its center, lay the incest problematic, now restated: Is avoidance of kin genetically programmed? Do all cultures know about risks of consanguinity? As for the twenty-first century, evolutionary and genetic assumptions are challenged by a living world population containing roughly one billion offspring of cousin marriages. Part III deals with one of the perhaps most remarkable reconfigurations of Western kinship in the aftermath of World War I: The shift from an endogamous to an exogamous alliance system centered on the "nuclear family." An historical anomaly, this family form began to dissolve almost as soon as it came together and, in the process, shifted the focus of incest concerns to a new pairing: father and daughter. By the 1970s, when the father/daughter problematic swept all other considerations of incest aside, that relationship had come to be modeled, for the most part, around power and its abusive potential. As for "incest," its representations in the last three decades of the twentieth century no longer focused on biologically damaged progeny but rather on power abuses in the nuclear family: sexual "abuse." By the mid-1990s, Western culture at least partly redirected its gaze away from father and daughter towards siblings, especially towards brothers and sisters and the sexual boundaries and erotics of their relationships. Correspondingly, siblings became a "model organism" for psychotherapy, evolutionary biology, and the science of genetics.

English summary: Nobility and poverty--that these two states of existence could fit together seems to be a contradiction in terms. The fact that penniless nobles existed thwarts our image of an aristocracy usually associated with castles, rolling estates and glittering balls attended by elegant ladies in magnificent gowns dancing with dashing guard officers. The German Empire's nobility was meant to be its elite and this was the case during no other period more so than in the run up to what is considered the aristocratic heyday of 1914. But that was only part of the reality of noble life in the 19th and early 20th centuries. In this volume, Johanna M. Singer reveals another lesser known aspect of the era far removed from opulent lifestyles and political influence: a problem made up mainly of unmarried women and widows living an impoverished life. The author searches for the causes and characteristics of, as well as the coping strategies for, female poverty among the nobles. How did not only the women themselves and their families cope with hardship but also other nobles and the authorities deal with this phenomenon?
