QUANTUM LEAP TO CONSCIOUS LIFEAll the methods to the Path of Self-Knowledge serve no purpose other than to create for the seeker the opportunity for the freeing leap into the moment, into his here and now. This is the moment in which the wall between the I and the other, between the inner and the outer world falls, and the differences between consciousness and its conditions disappear. Actualization is the moment: man liberates himself when he realizes that time is an illusion, because eternity and temporality, wakefulness and sleep, consciousness and illusion cannot exist in parallel. Every morning when we wake up, we do not wake up in instalments. We do not try to wake up, we simply wake up when we're done dreaming our dreams. The same applies to the Path. We come into being, or more precisely, we are made present in our reality the moment that we lose all reasons to continue to feed illusions. When we understand this, we realize that that time and space are nothing but an illusion of the mind, and that Awakening is a quantum leap from the artificially regulated, routinely predictable regime of life to a completely different, unpredictable, spontaneous, flowing conscious life... The power of now is ultimately misleading as the power of now is still within the realm of thought as time and still within the realm of the psychological entity which is the self. In the now the self is still there and is still running the show and it is the self that is causing the problem of duality, division, self-conflict, pain and suffering.Freedom from the self is freedom from pain and suffering. Freedom from the self is found in transcendence of the self which is transcendence of thought as time. Whether that is thought as time in the past, in the now or in the future is completely irrelevant because no matter what, thought as time must be transcended which means that even if the power of now did exist, it wouldn't be able to help you.If there is no transcendence of thought as time which means transcendence of thought thinking in terms of time there can be no freedom.Spirituality has never been about being in the moment, it has always been about transcending the moment. Spirituality is about enlightenment and there is no enlightenment within the realm of thought as time and there never was. Enlightenment is all about the stillness and the silence of the mind in which there is no thought as time. Stillness and silence is found in awareness, attention and meditation and if the meditation is guided by thought then there is no meditation...

You’ve prayed for deliverance—you’ve forgiven those who have hurt or abused you—and yet you’re still nursing the painful wounds of your past. Does this describe your experience? Many Christians have suffered unspeakable trauma and wonder why they aren’t experiencing the freedom God has promised. The reason is that trauma goes deeper than the mind. It infiltrates the body at the cellular level, and only a deliverance that deals with the whole man—soul, spirit, and body—will treat the trauma and set you free—completely free. Speaking as one who has received miraculous healing herself and also ministered it to others, Christian author and healing expert Joan Hunter demonstrates how to find true freedom through such methods as… Cursing cellular memory of rape and other forms of sexual abuse Escaping the stress that wears you down Renewing your mind with the mind of Christ Forgiving those who have harmed you Learning to love yourself Accepting the unconditional love of your heavenly Father As you break free from the bondage of trauma and pain, you will walk in deliverance and discover your true identity as a beloved child of God. You can be healed and whole! Start the recovery process today.

Freedom Beyond Confinement written by Michael Ra-Shon Hall and has been published by Liverpool University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-11-16 with Literary Criticism categories.

Freedom Beyond Confinement examines the cultural history of African American travel and the lasting influence of travel on the imagination particularly of writers of literary fiction and nonfiction. Using the paradox of freedom and confinement to frame the ways travel represented both opportunity and restriction for African Americans, the book details the intimate connection between travel and imagination from post Reconstruction (ca. 1877) to the present. Analysing a range of sources from the black press and periodicals to literary fiction and nonfiction, the book charts the development of critical representation of travel from the foundational press and periodicals which offered African Americans crucial information on travel precautions and possibilities (notably during the era of Jim Crow) to the woefully understudied literary fiction that would later provide some of the most compelling and lasting portrayals of the freedoms and constraints African Americans associated with travel. Travel experiences (often challenging and vexed) provided the raw data with which writers produced images and ideas meaningful as they learned to navigate, negotiate and even challenge racialized and gendered impediments to their mobility. In their writings African Americans worked to realize a vision and state of freedom informed by those often difficult experiences of mobility. In telling this story, the book hopes to center literary fiction in studies of travel where fiction has largely remained absent.

This volume explores the nature of human agency, including both its vitality and its vulnerabilities. The book identifies emancipatory sources of agency under conditions of domination and oppression, and it suggests a new, pluralist way to understand political freedom. Non-sovereign freedom should be conceived in a plural way because it takes diverse forms, happens in many different places, and aims at a variety of ends. The book reconstructs liberal individualism in fundamental ways. It offers new categories for conceiving human action, personal responsibility, and the meaning of liberty.

For all communications, please, use only this address: [email protected]. Book One, RevisedYou can have, be, and do whatever you will or desire. The only thing stopping you is the accumulation of negative thoughts and feelings which you are subconsciously holding. Remove these, and you remove the blocks to accomplish whatever you wish in life. Remove these, and you will find happiness, satisfaction, and joy beyond your wildest dreams. Remove these, and you are Free. These few lines express the essence of Lester Levenson's Releasing method that he proved with his life. The last chapter of this book is devoted to the Autobiography by Lester. "This book is for your heart... In this book Yuri makes you ask yourself... Can I learn to trust something more than my own mind? Like Alice in Wonderland and her steps through the mirror am I really so close and still not seeing: 'IT' has been within me all the time? Why do I insist on hanging on to my mind's guidance when it really knows so little about Life, the Universe and all that it contains? Can I quiet my mind long enough to give my heart the first say in the rest of my life's journey? I have found this to be a priceless exercise. And I am now embracing this journey that I have always been on but for the first time with an embracing of no limits to the volume of love I can contain. I've turned the mirror around and I see my inner self." Jill Sloan, Kernville, CA "For me, the best thing about Freedom Technique was the discovery of certain very real, concrete, and key psychological methods, the practice of which can only but lead to increased awareness, love and to result in healing, success, and enlightenment. These methods take a very balanced and gentle approach, helping to calmly and work with feelings we would rather run away from. In doing so, one learns to become one's own full-time psychologist, an enormous growth step for almost everyone. With proper practice, it can lead to the emergence of the ideal inner parent who binds up the wounds and dresses the scars of our not-so-easy lives. But the book has more than just psychotherapeutic value. Much care and attention is devoted to placing the Freedom Technique method into the center of an entire religious world view. This holistic approach leads the reader beyond just himself and his problems and beyond the questions, hurts, and limitations which mere psychology could never answer, heal, or transcend. By offering a horizon of utter fulfillment, Freedom Technique strengthens and gives courage to readers to start on the path of awareness and love critical to healing, success, and wholeness." Thomas Finnell, Ohio" I want to tell you that Freedom Technique really works. It takes some effort but it's worth it. Things started happening to me - things I wanted but was afraid of and thought impossible to happen. It was something I wished for during the whole summer. And it came without any work on my part. It just came. And I was able to take advantage of every moment without thinking of the past or future. Really, it was so exciting to see how things came together in a perfect manner. It's like suddenly I was able to complete the hardest puzzle." Polina, Moscow, Russia

If we live in the Western world we are said to be free. But are we? To what degree are we bound by our thoughts and emotions? What fuses us to habitual patterns of thinking and behaving? Are we ever really free of conditioning? Freedom Beyond Conditioning: East–West researches the complex world of emotional life. It looks at the multifaceted relationships between body and mind; and the body-mind fusion that is emotion. Using empirical data, this book investigates the correlations between emotional life and mental freedom: analysing the experiential nature of a conditioned existence, while answering some difficult philosophical questions. Freedom Beyond Conditioning presents an interesting anthology of some of the world’s most critical thinkers. It suggests that freedom is defined through its etymological links to friendship and justice, revealing the quintessential paradox of “responsible freedom”. This book blends the subtleties of Eastern theories of energy, and their relationship to freedom, with the Western world’s science-based approach to mind and body. Ultimately, Freedom Beyond Conditioning synthesises a healthy expression of emotional energy with the achievement of balance and wellbeing, and offers it as a true representation of freedom, one that is revealed through the paradoxical freedom of restraint.

"You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God." Matthew 5:6 The Message We live in hungry times. Ours is a consumer culture, predisposed to quickly fill the cravings of body and mind. The idea of fasting--the voluntary denial of something for a specific time, for a spiritual purpose--sets us immediately on edge. But Lynne Baab makes the case that anyone can fast. Fasting is an expression of freedom. Free from the patterns and habits that mark everyday life, from time to time we can move beyond our appetites into meaningful encounter with God. In Fasting you'll discover an ancient Christian practice that extends beyond giving up food to any regular activity in our contemporary lives. You'll see how taking a break from eating--or driving, or checking e-mail, or watching television--opens us up to discover new things about ourselves and God and the world around us. You'll see that while not everyone should forgo food, anyone can step out of routine to feed the soul. In a time of great spiritual hunger, God invites us all to a feast: fellowship with the Creator of the universe, where all our truest needs are identified and attended to.
