From Incognito Gangster to God: An American Story of Redemption and Restoration is an unapologetic, in-your-face memoir, following the life of Tom Pope, who is a well-known radio personality and former all-time ministry member of the gospel. However, few knew the hidden life he led before he came into the public's scrutiny. His life shows that God can take what was meant for bad and use it for good. Follow the ups and downs as Pope opens up and tells you the secrets about his early life before he turned it over to Christ. Self-determination ran through his veins. Pope witnessed his maternal grandparents, Grandma Esther and Mr. Willie, act as successful entrepreneurs and defenders of their own land in a Jim Crow south. His grandparents also taught him how to shoot and how to survive attacks. These and other experiences influenced Pope to become an illegal entrepreneur of sorts early in his life, and a legal businessman later in life. You will meet the one woman who changed his life for the better. Follow his journey as a secular radio broadcaster to a full-time ministry member, to a radio show host and broadcast owner, and back to the ministry, then combining both callings. As a broadcaster, Pope has captured a lot of Black history from the Civil Rights Movement to the Million Man March and beyond within these pages. You will discover the many chapters to Tom Pope's life. At the end of each chapter, Pope provides lessons he learned from each chapter of his life. Complete with scriptures, stories, and anecdotes, this is a timely book. If you are in business, it will arm you with the tools to rebound from setbacks and to gain back your confidence, as well as the ability to go on with your life. In general, it will teach you how to walk with God and listen for Divine directions in your life.

Writing my true-crime autobiography is only half the story. The second half is my redemption and repentance to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The book is 100 percent truth, from my wild childhood days in New York City to me joining the US Navy at age sixteen and serving eight years honorably. The only problem, I was living a double life. I was also a mob associate and worked with a crew from one of the five families. It was the early 1990s, the reign of the Teflon Don. I want people to know I'm Irish and Polish, not Italian. I did a couple of successful heists by myself after I was betrayed by my mob connections, who were also childhood friends. I tell my complete story where I was charged with the RICO Act, which is organized crime; conspiracy to rob an armored truck; as well as conspiracy to transfer currency across state lines. I never did no major time because of one mob contact, I'll call Big Loser, who was a total idiot. Every job he planned in New York with me went bust. Besides all that, he screwed up my job of a lifetime. My biggest mistake was picking him and his neighbor to take the money from the armored truck company I worked for.

2014 Christy Award finalist! Monica Bisbaine loves being a modern girl in the Roaring Twenties. Her job writing a gossip column allows her access to all the local speakeasys in Washington, D.C., where she can dance the night away—and find fodder for her next article. But when the owner of the Capitol Chatter newspaper passes away, Monica wonders what will happen to her job, and the lifestyle she loves. Max Moore may hold the title of editor-in-chief for evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson’s paper, The Bridal Call, but Aimee calls all the shots. So when Max learns that his great-uncle has passed away, leaving him all his earthly possessions, Max resigns and heads to D.C. Determined to take over the Capitol Chatter, infuse it with his values, and turn it into a respectable paper, Max is soon bumping up against the equally determined Monica Bisbane. Under Max’s direction, Monica embarks on her most challenging assignment yet: infiltrating and reporting on the Anti-Flirt Society. Though reluctant at first, as Monica meets and mingles with the young women of the club, she begins to question the innocence of her flirtatious lifestyle. And when romance begins to blossom between Max and Monica, she must choose where her loyalties lie: with the young women of the society or the alluring pull of the speakeasy and its inhabitants.

The final word on the world's greatest rock band, Led Zeppelin. They were 'the last great band of the sixties; the first great band of the seventies'; they rose, somewhat unpromisingly, from the ashes of the Yardbirds to become one of the biggest-selling rock bands of all time. Mick Wall, respected rock writer and former confidant of both Page and Plant, unflinchingly tells the story of the band that wrote the rulebook for on-the-road excess - and eventually paid the price for it, with disaster, drug addiction and death. WHEN GIANTS WALKED THE EARTH reveals for the first time the true extent of band leader Jimmy Page's longstanding interest in the occult, and goes behind the scenes to expose the truth behind their much-hyped yet spectacularly contrived comeback at London's O2 arena last year, and how Jimmy Page plans to bring the band back permanently - if only his former protégé, now part-time nemesis, Robert Plant will allow him to. Wall also recounts, in a series of flashbacks, the life stories of the five individuals that made the dream of Led Zeppelin into an even more incredible and hard-to-swallow reality: Page, Plant, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, and their infamous manager, Peter Grant. The culmination of several years research, this book tells the full, shocking story of Led Zeppelin from the inside, written by someone who has known Jimmy Page for over twenty years.
