This volume, 106 of the Les Houches Summer School series, brings together applications of integrability to supersymmetric gauge and string theory. The book focuses on the application of integrability and problems in quantum field theory. Particular emphasis is given to the exact solution of planar N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory and its relation with string theory on the one hand, and the exact determination of the low-energy physics of N=2 super-Yang-Mills theories on the other; links with other domains are also explored. The purpose of the Les Houches Summer School was to bring together young researchers and specialists from statistical physics, condensed matter physics, gauge and string theory, and mathematics, to stimulate discussion across these different research areas.

Form Factors In Completely Integrable Models Of Quantum Field Theory written by F. A. Smirnov and has been published by World Scientific this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1992 with Science categories.
The monograph summarizes recent achievements in the calculation of matrix elements of local operators (form factors) for completely integrable models. Particularly, it deals with sine-Gordon, chiral Gross-Neven and O(3) nonlinear s models. General requirements on form factors are formulated and explicit formulas for form factors of most fundamental local operators are presented for the above mentioned models.

The present volume is the result of the international workshop on New Trends in Quantum Integrable Systems that was held in Kyoto, Japan, from 27 to 31 July 2009. As a continuation of the RIMS Research Project "Method of Algebraic Analysis in Integrable Systems" in 2004, the workshop's aim was to cover exciting new developments that have emerged during the recent years. Collected here are research articles based on the talks presented at the workshop, including the latest results obtained thereafter. The subjects discussed range across diverse areas such as correlation functions of solvable models, integrable models in quantum field theory, conformal field theory, mathematical aspects of Bethe ansatz, special functions and integrable differential/difference equations, representation theory of infinite dimensional algebras, integrable models and combinatorics. Through these topics, the reader is exposed to the most recent developments in the field of quantum integrable systems and related areas of mathematical physics.

New Dualities Of Supersymmetric Gauge Theories written by Jörg Teschner and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-11-17 with Science categories.
This book reviews a number of spectacular advances that have been made in the study of supersymmetric quantum field theories in the last few years. Highlights include exact calculations of Wilson loop expectation values, and highly nontrivial quantitative checks of the long-standing electric-magnetic duality conjectures The book starts with an introductory article presenting a survey of recent advances, aimed at a wide audience with a background and interest in theoretical physics. The following articles are written for advanced students and researchers in quantum field theory, string theory and mathematical physics, our goal being to familiarize these readers with the forefront of current research. The topics covered include recent advances in the classification and vacuum structure of large families of N=2 supersymmetric field theories, followed by an extensive discussion of the localisation method, one of the most powerful tools for exact studies of supersymmetric field theories. The quantities that have been studied in this way are partition functions, expectation values of line operators, and supersymmetric indices. The book also reviews recently discovered connections between SUSY field theories in four dimensions and two-dimensional conformal field theory. These connections have a counterpart in relations between three-dimensional gauge theories and Chern-Simons theory; the book’s closing chapters explore connections with string theory.

From Hodge Theory To Integrability And Tqft written by Ron Donagi and has been published by American Mathematical Soc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008 with Mathematics categories.
"Ideas from quantum field theory and string theory have had an enormous impact on geometry over the last two decades. One extremely fruitful source of new mathematical ideas goes back to the works of Cecotti, Vafa, et al. around 1991 on the geometry of topological field theory. Their tt*-geometry (tt* stands for topological-antitopological) was motivated by physics, but it turned out to unify ideas from such separate branches of mathematics as singularity theory, Hodge theory, integrable systems, matrix models, and Hurwitz spaces. The interaction among these fields suggested by tt*-geometry has become a fast moving and exciting research area. This book, loosely based on the 2007 Augsburg, Germany workshop "From tQFT to tt* and Integrability", is the perfect introduction to the range of mathematical topics relevant to tt*-geometry. It begins with several surveys of the main features of tt*-geometry, Frobenius manifolds, twistors, and related structures in algebraic and differential geometry, each starting from basic definitions and leading to current research. The volume moves on to explorations of current foundational issues in Hodge theory: higher weight phenomena in twistor theory and non-commutative Hodge structures and their relation to mirror symmetry. The book concludes with a series of applications to integrable systems and enumerative geometry, exploring further extensions and connections to physics. With its progression through introductory, foundational, and exploratory material, this book is an indispensable companion for anyone working in the subject or wishing to enter it."--Publisher's website.

Algebraic And Analytic Aspects Of Integrable Systems And Painleve Equations written by Anton Dzhamay and has been published by American Mathematical Soc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-10-28 with Mathematics categories.
This volume contains the proceedings of the AMS Special Session on Algebraic and Analytic Aspects of Integrable Systems and Painlevé Equations, held on January 18, 2014, at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Baltimore, MD. The theory of integrable systems has been at the forefront of some of the most important developments in mathematical physics in the last 50 years. The techniques to study such systems have solid foundations in algebraic geometry, differential geometry, and group representation theory. Many important special solutions of continuous and discrete integrable systems can be written in terms of special functions such as hypergeometric and basic hypergeometric functions. The analytic tools developed to study integrable systems have numerous applications in random matrix theory, statistical mechanics and quantum gravity. One of the most exciting recent developments has been the emergence of good and interesting discrete and quantum analogues of classical integrable differential equations, such as the Painlevé equations and soliton equations. Many algebraic and analytic ideas developed in the continuous case generalize in a beautifully natural manner to discrete integrable systems. The editors have sought to bring together a collection of expository and research articles that represent a good cross section of ideas and methods in these active areas of research within integrable systems and their applications.
