This is my memoir-a story of hope, strength, and life in all its sad, hopeless reality. However, no sadness remains, and so I write this as a message to all the women. It doesn't matter if you're from a broken home, or in a broken marriage, or are empathetic toward anyone who is in these circumstances - you will survive. I also write this to the sons and daughters who have forgotten peace in their own homes. Remember; there will be peace; you must never give up. Where there are problems, there is always a solution, and God will provide that for you. The key is patience. There's no 'easiness' in God's way. It may be perfect, ideal, and "natural." However, it needs hard work. When you consider God's way, you may find that, someday, you still may have to work at it. Just because something is right doesn't mean it's easy. Someday you need a little more strength than others. But remember that God is always there to help. It is something that my mother and grandmother always reminded me of when I could not find peace.

Sharing the Passion of Jesus Christ in a prayer form uniquely your own in times of great distress can bring comfort and peace. This book offers a positive approach to overcome the paralyzing effects of emotional hurt in difficult life situations which can't be avoided or changed. Each of the chapters clearly illustrates how this form of special prayer can transform life's hurts into opportunities for emotional and spiritual growth. Ms Hebert draws the reader into the real-life situations of those whom she counsels. When they reach a place of major discouragement in dealing with hopeless life situations she helps them join their pain to the sufferings of Christ in His Passion where they find peace and healing. Insightful and encouraging, "Sharing the Passion of Jesus Christ" should be read by anyone who is experiencing emotional pain or who finds himself/herself in a distressing life-situation they cannot change.

Are you going through a crisis? If you aren't, don't worry-the next one is just around the corner. Do you want to know why everything seems to be crumbling around you? Life is often full of unending trials, undeserved pain, and unanswered questions. However, it's possible to find comfort and peace where you least expect it-right in the middle of your pain. The story of Job shows us how. Most people think the ancient story of Job is about losing it all and gaining it back again. But that's just part of the story. There is much more to learn from his life, including the best (and worst) ways to help hurting friends and how to hear God's voice in the midst of a storm. Life lessons from the story of Job teach timeless truths about understanding God's purpose in pain and how to hold on to our hope and faith when we suffer. If you're going through hardship (or trying to help someone who is), this book will encourage and empower you to discover a supernatural peace despite life's pain.

"Toni has battled terror and prevailed. Her courageous pilgrimage makes a great book, a spiritual classic that might be inspiring decades or even centuries from now." --New York Newsday Antoinette Bosco is a mother and grandmother who has lived through every woman's worst nightmares: an incapacitated spouse, the suicide and murder of two of her six children, the blinding and grave illness of two others. As the blows kept coming, this devout Catholic found herself asking, God, where are you taking me? When is enough enough? Yet to meet Antoinette Bosco is to be in the presence of someone profoundly at peace with herself and her world. Her serenity and her joy in life are palpable. Now, drawing on her own suffering and the pain of the many people she has interviewed, journalist Antoinette Bosco shares with us the spiritual truths that illumined her path in the darkest days of her tribulations. No one else could have written this compelling true story of a life besieged but never broken, and of the wisdom gained by passing through such tests, coming closer to God because of them. "Finding Peace Through Pain is not just a good book by a skilled writer, but a great book by an accomplished author and spiritual guide. Let her help you to learn to smile and be strong again." --Mitch Finley Author of Everybody Has a Guardian Angel

From Pain To Peace written by Rick Bechard and has been published by Lucid Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-06-10 with categories.

How can the fear of your mother dying, growing up gay, Evangelical Christianity, men cheating on their wives, a birthday card, strip clubs, complicated relationships, HIV, a certain transsexual as well as A Course in Miracles lead to the creation of a spiritual memoir? Well it can...but just be prepared for a roller-coaster ride of tears, laughter and a little bit of shock. In his spiritual memoir "From Pain To Peace" author Rick Bechard shows us by way of his own "earthly" experiences that pain is a part of life and rather than trying to avoid it, we will be better served in making a "mindful" decision on how to be with it. Utilizing helpful metaphors and to the point writing, "From Pain To Peace" illustrates why peace is something we choose and not something we need fight for.
