Who is Satan? The Bible is perhaps not as clear on the Devil's identity as you may think. In this challenging and hilarious dialogue, two friends feud over the exact attributes of the Biblical nemesis. The dialogue unspools like a court hearing, with each side verbally sparing to convince you of their theologically sound, Satanic position. Who is this so called Lucifer, really? Is he red with pointy horns? Does he really think he can overcome the creator of all things? What makes him tick? Grab a bowl of popcorn and enjoy getting your hands a little dirty as we try to extract demonic fact from myth. Come for the Biblical exegesis. Stay for the name calling.

Careful what you ask for, because Lucifer sees you when you’re sleeping. Spies when you’re awake. Knows if you’ve been nauseatingly good, so try to be bad for the devil’s sake. Merry is determined to make Christmas special for her son. He hasn’t spoken or smiled since his father died, so she writes a letter hoping for a holiday miracle. Dear Satan… Her unfortunate error ensures her wish ends up in the wrong place. Worse? Satan answers her plea—after telling Santa where he can shove a candy cane. The devil knows just what Merry needs, and he has the perfect demon for the job. Marduke’s mission is to deliver a hellhound puppy to a little boy, along with some tips on how to avoid getting eaten. What the devil’s kennel master doesn’t expect on this emasculating mission of kindness is Merry. A happy, optimistic woman despite all the strife in her life. It’s disgusting. Annoying. Tempting? Usually, Marduke is all about destroying hopes and dreams—and letting his dogs pee on people while they’re down—but there’s something about Merry… genre: paranormal romantic comedy, demon romance, shapeshifter romance, holiday romance, satan romance, matchmaking, cozy romance, hell romance

about this book.... This book includes methods for honoring this holiday occasion as a practitioner of Left Hand Path philosophies, and as a Satanist. Satan, the Father of Magic (in my tradition), doesn't always get the praise and adoration that He deserves this time of year...the writing of this book is an attempt to remedy that shameful biased oversight. I've also included some Halloween fun for kids and adults alike, and a bonus ritual to honor Moloch...the 'passing through fire' ritual. This ritual was labeled as 'child sacrifice' in the Olde Testament, but believed to be a harmless 'rite of passage' by many...(Like a Christian confirmation, a Bar mitzvah, etc). Regardless of how it was done in ancient times... Our version is 'good clean fun' and, of course, no one is harmed. "Satanic Samhain & Halloween Fun" is filled with sincere reverence and lots of fun, as is this holiday season..please enjoy!

This volume is the result of a collective desire to pay homage to Neil Forsyth, whose work has significantly contributed to scholarship on Satan. This volume is “after” Satan in more ways than one, tracing the afterlife of both the satanic figure in literature and of Neil Forsyth’s contribution to the field, particularly in his major books The Old Enemy: Satan and the Combat Myth (Princeton University Press, 1987, revised 1990) and The Satanic Epic (Princeton University Press, 2003). The essays in this volume draw on Forsyth’s work as a focus for their analyses of literary encounters with evil or with the Devil himself, reflecting the richness and variety of contemporary approaches to the age-old question of how to represent evil. All the contributors acknowledge Neil Forsyth’s influence in the study of both the Satan-figure and Milton’s Paradise Lost. But beyond simply paying homage to Neil Forsyth, the articles collected here trace the lineage of the Satan figure through literary history, showing how evil can function as a necessary other against which a community may define itself. They chart the demonised other through biblical history and medieval chronicle, Shakespeare and Milton, to nineteenth-century fiction and the contemporary novel. Many of the contributors find that literary evil is mediated through the lens of the Satan of Paradise Lost, and their articles address the notion, raised by Neil Forsyth in The Satanic Epic, that the literary Devil-figures under consideration are particularly interested in linguistic ambivalence and the twisted texture of literary works themselves. The multiple responses to evil and the continuous reinvention of the devil figure through the centuries all reaffirm the textual presence of the Devil, his changing forms necessarily inscribed in the shifting history of western literary culture. These essays are a tribute to the work of Neil Forsyth, whose scholarship has illuminated and guided the study of the Devil in English and other literatures.
