Hinsichtlich der inhaltlichen Struktur haben sich die Herausgeber und Autoren des Gabler Wirtschaftsinformatik-Lexikons an dem Gestaltungs- und Nutzungsprozeß betrieblicher In formationssysteme orientiert, wie er durch die nachfolgende Abbildung modellhaft darge stellt ist. Nutzung Planung Imple Analyse mentierung Design Damit wird auch angedeutet, von welchem Verständnis der relativ jungen Disziplin "Wirt schaftsinformatik" die Auswahl der Stichwörter geleitet wurde. Grundlagenbegriffe der In formationstechnologie (z. B. Speicher, ATM, lOBaseX) und Informationsverarbeitungskon zepte (z. B. verteilte Verarbeitung, computergestützte Gruppenarbeit) stellen die Potentiale dar, welche die Wirtschaftsinformatik im Rahmen von Informationssystemen in Unterneh mungen, verstanden als Mensch-Aufgabe-Technik-Systeme zu nutzen hat. Die Planungs phase stellt die Schnittstelle der Techniknutzung zur generellen Unternehmensplanung so wie -Strategie dar und bereitet den Gestaltungs- und Nutzungsprozeß vor (z. B. Projektport folio, Wirtschaftlichkeit, Nutzenmanagement). Im Rahmen der Analysephase steht die Ent wicklung des Fachkonzeptes im Vordergrund (z. B. Systementwicklung, objektorientierte Analyse), während beim Design die Ableitung des DV-Konzeptes im Mittelpunkt steht (z. B. Relationenschema, backtracking, Pseudocode). Die Implementierung beschäftigt sich mit der DV-technischen und organisatorischen Umsetzung der entwickelten Modelle (z. B. Programmiersprache, Einführungskonzept) und die Nutzungsphase betrifft das Be treiben, Nutzen sowie Anpassen rechnergestützter Informationssysteme im Unternehmen (z. B. Datensicherung, Rechenzentrum, Software Reengineering, Konfigurationsmanage ment). Aufgrund der Anwendungsorientierung der Wirtschaftsinformatik wurde in vielfäl tiger Art und Weise auf die Anwendungsgebiete eingegangen (z. B. Anwendungen in der In dustrie, Anwendungen im Rechnungswesen, Anwendungen in Banken). Daneben wird die Steuerung des Systementwicklungsprozesses behandelt (z. B. Projektmanagement).

This volume offers a cross-section of a good fifteen years of research in the sociology of technology and innovation at the Department of Sociology of Technology headed by Werner Rammert at the TU Berlin. All contributions in this volume were initiated or discussed there and thus bear in a certain sense a "Berlin signature" - not in the sense of a clearly delimited scientific school, but rather in the form of an open discussion group with different, but mutually related focal points. The Berlin Key, which gives it its title, imposes on all its users the program of action objectified in its mechanism: "User, if you want to take the key back to yourself after unlocking the door and go your way, you must lock the door again first.
