Questo volume è la raccolta della massima parte dei lavori presentati al XV Congresso che l’AMISI ha organizzato insieme con la SIIC, la SEPI e la Fondazione AMISI Erickson: comunicazioni scienti - fiche, relazioni, letture magistrali, tavole rotonde, workshop. Si tratta di una cinquantina di autori che si sono impegnati relazionando secondo l’orientamento che questo Convegno ha individuato. Intitolato a: “Evoluzione Personale e Psicoterapia Ipnotica - Specificità e potenzialità dell’approccio neo ericksoniano” ha richiamato i partecipanti a riflettere sulla Psicoterapia Ipnotica da diversi punti di osservazione, una opportunità per andare oltre la descrizione della sua applicazione clinica. Il Convegno ha stimolato il terapeuta a riflettere sulla propria qualità, per quel che riguarda la sua formazione, la sua crescita personale in relazione ad essa e l’approccio verso se stesso. Inoltre sono stati considerati sia la terapia che i punti di forza su cui essa si basa, e cioè, la relazione con il paziente, il profondo rapporto empatico che implica una sincera onestà nella comunicazione all’interno della coppia terapeutica, e di quei valori che questa schiettezza sottintende vale a dire ciò che noi, secondo Erickson, definiamo con il termine “Rapport”. In ultimo, e non per importanza, il Congresso ha voluto mettere in luce il vissuto del terapeuta e la prerogativa della psicoterapia ipnotica che forma a operare in assenza di giudizio, con la disponibilità ad infrangere i propri preconcetti per accogliere il paziente nella sua unicità di espressione ed obiettivi.
