Genre pantun ditampilkan sebagai sarana pendukung berdakwah bagi calon Dai yang berasal dari Pesantren Abu Bakar Siddik Parau Sorat Sipirok. Materinya dapat sumber belajar kegiatan ekstrakurikuler untuk melatih diri terampil berpidato yang bergenre puisi lama yaitu pantun. Diasumsikan bahwa genre puisi yang bernuansa religius Islami dapat diakomodasi menjadi sumber inspirasi untuk berdakwah karena materinya dihipotesiskan bahwa minat audiens dakwah meningkat jika berbahasa daerah pantunnya. Audiensnya yang dominan berbahasa sehari-hari bahasa Angkola Mandailing maka diasumsikan respons terhadap genre puisi modern ataupun puisi lama karena rasa kepekaan remaja sebagai audiensnya. Audiens menyukai isi dakwahnya karena pendakwah menyelipkan genre puisi yang bersifat pantun. Wawasan Islamik yang berazas keyakinan beragama Islam terdapat dalam puisi maka puisi modern religius yang terdapat dalam buku ini menjadi sarana sumber inspirasi untuk berdakwah.
