Sie betrachtet diese als hochaktuelle Thematik insbesondere bezüglich der neuen Anforderungen durch den Krankenhausplan 2016 des Landes Berlin. Die Arbeit fokussiert auf die Leistungserbringung und Inanspruchnahme der Rettungsstellen durch die stark wachsende Gruppe geriatrischer Patienten ab. Einen besonderen Fokus stellen dabei Risiko-Screenings für altersmedizinische Notaufnahmepatienten dar. Nach Erläuterung kontextrelevanter Termini der Notfall- und der Altersmedizin wird eine literaturbasierte Analyse bezogen auf die demographischen Effekte in Berlin vorgenommen. Nachfolgend werden Konsequenzen für die Notfall-Inanspruchnahmen in Berlin herausgestellt und dorige Handlungsbedarfe für die geriatrische Notfallversorgung thematisiert. Es wird insbesondere die Notfall-Triage für altersmedizinische Patienten problematisiert und die Möglichkeiten spezifischer Screeningverfahren und -instrumente untersucht. Es erfolgt bezogen auf eine hochrelevante und aktuelle Versorgungsthematik eine abschließende Zusammenfassung und Diskussion.

Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Gesundheitswissenschaften, Note: 1,7, APOLLON Hochschule der Gesundheitswirtschaft in Bremen, Veranstaltung: Thesis und Master-Kolloquium, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Master-Thesis beschäftigt sich mit der Umsetzung der geriatrischen Versorgung für altersmedizinische Notfallpatienten in den Berliner Notaufnahmen. Sie ist dabei in gleich mehrfacher Hinsicht von Aktualität und hoher Relevanz geprägt, wie es in der Thesis verdeutlich wird. Durch den aktualisierten Krankenhausplan 2016 des Landes Berlin werden bei deutlich steigenden altersmedizinischen Patientenzahlen obligate Anforderungen an die dortigen Rettungsstellen gestellt. Diese beziehen sich unter anderem auf die Implementierung geriatrischer Expertise, den Einsatz von Screening-Instrumenten und die Allokationsentscheidung einschließlich zu erstellender Behandlungspfade mit Berücksichtigung klinikinterner Besonderheiten. Die Thesis setzt sich als schwerpunktmäßig theoretische Arbeit mit einer begleitenden empirischen Studie vor allem mit der Umsetzung und der Umsetzbarkeit dieser Anforderungen auseinander und schließt alltagspraktische Erfahrungen des Verfassers (Geriater) mit ein. Es werden zunächst grundlegende Aspekte und Gegebenheiten der Gebiete Altersmedizin und Notfallmedizin betrachtet. Anschließend werden besondere Bedarfe bei der Versorgung altersmedizinischer Notfallpatienten herausgestellt und diese im Sinne eines Hochrisikokollektivs erfasst. Zudem wird die numerisch hohe Zahl altersmedizinischer Patienten als kapazitäre Herausforderung in Berlin herausgestellt und eine definitive Notwendigkeit für altersmedizinisch orientierte Notfallversorgung in den Berliner Rettungsstellen begründet. Die Arbeit betrachtet weiterhin insgesamt elf Handlungsfelder für die Umsetzung einer optimierten geriatrischen Notfallversorgung in den Aufnahmekrankenhäusern, die jeweils analysiert und schließlich mit expliziten Handlungsempfehlungen für relevante Ent-scheidungsträger versehen werden. Als Schwerpunkte sind dabei die Etablierung geriatrischer Expertise in den Notaufnahmen, die Optionen für geriatrische Risiko-Screenings in den Rettungsstellen, strukturräumliche Gegebenheiten, sektorenüber-greifende Implikationen sowie Qualitätssicherung repräsentiert.

To lose the ability to understand and produce language may be a major catastrophe for children and has enormous consequences for their whole life, even if speech is regained after some time.2 Therefore, it is astonishing how little is known about the subject and how controversially it is discussed in literature. This paper introduces into acquired childhood aphasia with focus on a syndrome called Landau-Kleffner Syndrome, in which aphasia and epilepsy are combined. Landau-Kleffner Syndrome will be discussed in regard to symptoms, aetiology, therapy and prognosis. Moreover, it will be compared to other forms of acquired childhood aphasia.
