The Professor is stuck in a time slip. Hes constantly jumping between the future and the past with no rhyme or rhythm (chaotically) within a sixty-year period. He must follow the ten rules of time slipping to prevent any possible time paradoxes. Only a select few people know about his situation. The Dean, the first person that the Professor meets while slipping, becomes the Professors best friend. Since they both know things that has happened to the other before they do, they play small harmless pranks on each other. The Assistant is the Deans personal assistant and a professor in the physics department. Hes tasked with assisting the Professor to end the time slipping phenomena by the Dean. The Professor doesnt trust the Assistant because he knew him before the incident occurred, and he doesnt like him. The Assistant has enlisted the help of three students to help with the research and assembly of a device that may help the Professor. The Professor knows the future of the three students and keeps his identity from them. The Professor keeps his knowledge of the device and the formulas secret to prevent future knowledge being revealed to individuals of the pass. The Assistant violates this by constantly investigating the device when the Professor isnt there. Will the Professor be able to stop the phenomena, or will he be stuck time slipping forever?

Wittgenstein's complex and demanding work challenges much that is taken for granted in philosophical thinking as well as in the theorizing of art, theology, science and culture. Each essay in this collection explores a key concept involved in Wittgenstein's thinking, relating it to his understanding of philosophy, and outlining the arguments and explaining the implications of each concept. Concepts covered include grammar, meaning and meaning-blindness language-games and private language, family resemblances, psychologism, rule-following, teaching and learning, avowals, Moore's Paradox, aspect seeing, the meter-stick, and criteria. Students new to Wittgenstein and readers interested in developing their understanding of specific aspects of his philosophical work will find this book very welcome.

BYRON CAN SEE THE FUTURE. Just a few maddening seconds. Never able to change anything. It’s a curse she’s been running from for years. Just like she ran away from home where her mother died the day she was born. Where her father blamed her. But when her father dies suddenly, Byron is finally able to come home. A quick visit, she thinks—collect her inheritance, say hello to her childhood best friend, Chase, and be gone before morning. Except Chase is missing…and no one seems to be looking for her. Desperate to find her friend, Byron instead uncovers a pattern of young women who’ve vanished from this town over the years—a pattern that points to her dead parents, and to the mysterious source of her visions. Now, with a kidnapper closing in, Byron must learn to break her curse and change the future she’s seen. Her life—and Chase’s—depends on it. *** “A a riveting thriller with a provocative central mystery…Byron’s story is as searing as her welding torch.” - Holly M. Wendt, author of "The Bolton Strid" and "The Rogers Ladder" "In the vein of Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas, Slip delivers a thriller-mystery with a hint of the paranormal and a protagonist that will take a bite out of you from page one. Byron's adventures are only just beginning." - Gwendolyn N. Nix, author of I Have Asked To Be Where No Storms Come
