Un travail sans limites pour le montage de la bande sonore avec ses nombreux et minutieux raccords, semblables en cela aux collures du cinéaste. Si Gould a élargi les possibilités de son art par l’application des nouvelles technologies, il a également contribué à révolutionner la manière de concevoir les relations avec le compositeur, l’œuvre et l’auditeur qu’il souhaitait réceptif et créateur. Il l’a toujours imaginé muni des appareils les plus perfectionnés, pour le conduire, avec lui, directement vers l’essentiel la découverte de l’œuvre dans une même quête de beauté et d’extase.
