Chapter 4 outlines the advent of global television as a participant in the foreign policy process. Chapter 5 examines whether or not the public influences foreign policy. Chapter 6 elucidates the manner in which television's growing capacity as a channel for global communication will affect its relationship to the foreign policy process in the future.
