Vztahy center a periferií jsou historicky variabilní, kulturní konfigurace se mění. To je i případ románských literatur — původní dominance Evropy přechází do fáze recepce a různorodého vlivu Amerik a Afriky na evropské literatury. A česká literatura? Není i v ní podobná interakce s evropským a mimoevropským prostorem? Publikace je dílem týmu předních českých romanistů a jejich doktorandů působících na Masarykově univerzitě v Brně, Univerzitě Palackého v Olomouci a Univerzitě Karlově v Praze.
