In a wide-ranging study based on legal history, political theory, and philosophical ideas going all the way back to Plato and Roman law, Robert Clinton challenges current faith in an activist judiciary. Claiming that a human-centered Constitution leads to government by reductive moral theory and illegitimate judicial review, he advocates a return to traditional jurisprudence and a God-centered Constitution grounded in English common law and its precedents.

"I know of no writer who equals Law in the clearness and the force with which the claims of God on man are asserted. God is all; God must have all; God alone must work all: round these central truths all his teaching gathers. In their light he convicts the religious world of the hollowness and terrible self-deception of the Christianity it professes." —Andrew Murray, Introduction

This book is a doctrinal manifesto. Its aim and purpose is to produce what many modern writers are fond of referring to as a paradigm shift. The goal is to lay the foundation for the establishment of a truly biblical social order, especially within the community of Bible-believing, Christ-honoring families. The subject matter is patriarchy and the biblical exposition contained herein is devoted to establishing the proposition that it is patriarchy which is and was mandated by God ever since the original creation of man and woman. A complete Scripture and Topical Index is included.

A Treatise On The Law And Gospel written by John Colquhoun and has been published by Ravenio Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1819 with Religion categories.

"The subject of this treatise," writes Colqohoun, "is in the highest degree, important and interesting, both to saints and to sinners. To know it experimentally, is to “be wise unto salvation;” and to live habitually under the influence of it, is to be at once holy and happy. To have spiritual and distinct views of it, is the way to be kept from verging towards self-righteousness, on the one hand, and licentiousness, on the other; and to be enabled to assert, the absolute freeness of sovereign grace, and at the same time, the sacred interests of true holiness. Without an experimental knowledge, and an unfeigned faith, of the law and the gospel, a man can neither venerate the authority of the one, nor esteem the grace of the other." This classic is organized as follows: Introduction Chapter I. Of the Law of God in General Chapter II. Of the Law of God as Promulgated to the Israelites From Mount Sinai Chapter III. Of the Properties of the Moral Law Chapter IV. The Rules for Understanding Aright the Ten Commandments Chapter V. Of the Gospel of Christ Chapter VI. Of the Uses of the Gospel, and of the Law in Subservience to the Gospel Chapter VII. Of the Difference Between the Law and the Gospel Chapter VIII. Of the Agreement Between the Law and the Gospel Chapter IX. Of the Establishment of the Law by the Gospel Chapter X. Of the Believer’s Privilege of Being Dead to the Law as a Covenant of Works, With a Highly Important Consequence of It Chapter XI. Of the High Obligations Under Which Believers Lie, to Yield Even Perfect Obedience to the Law as a Rule of Life Chapter XII. Of the Nature, Necessity, and Desert of Good Works To the Reader

Modern Christianity written by Dennis Loze and has been published by AuthorHouse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-10 with Religion categories.

Almost 2 billion people profess to be Christians, whilst they have differences in doctrine, they generally share similar beliefs. The truth is, most never truly study the Bible, many others never even open it. Most professing Christians have no idea what it teaches on almost any subject. Their beliefs are derived from assumptions based on what they have been told the Bible says. They can readily give their definition of what the Bible says, but cannot give the actual Bible definition. Jesus said "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be least in the Kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the Kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:17-19) (New International Version) Judeo Christianity heritage is so important to understand, but unfortunately very few Christians have had the courage or encouragement to familiarise themselves with this heritage. The roots of Christianity run so deep into the Hebrew soil, but the actual study of the Hebrew world has been so superficial and also deemed irrelevant. Have we been guilty of allowing Man's Law replacing God's Law. Christians should re examine their Jewish roots so as to affect a more authentic Biblical understanding and lifestyle.

Virginia O Hare Documents God S Law Vs Man S Law written by Virginia O'Hare and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-04-10 with Law categories.

More than four decades ago, Virginia O'Hare had a miraculous visitation from God. He said, "Virginia, in you, I am well pleased. I have chosen you to be my last day prophet. Through you, 10 million souls will be saved." Virginia thought, "Only 10,000,000 souls?" God answered, "10 x 10 million souls will be saved through you. Everyone in the world will know who you are." Virginia, then a 42-year-old single mother, raising three children, and working in her successful real estate business, ignored this calling from God. Years later, after the passing of her husband of 45 years, and her two daughters, she wrote her first book, Virginia O'Hare's Trials, Triumphs, and Vision from God. Two years after its publication, tragedy struck her life again. She witnessed her only son, Robert Anthony, being brutally assaulted by three Sheriff's Deputies in her own home. They had forced their way into the house, without a search warrant, and ignored her son's civil, and Constitutional rights. The nightmare of seeing her son bloody, bruised and in shock, terrified her. Fighting for her son's life and seeking justice, became her quest, which led to the birth of this book. She vividly details the horrible acts of corruptness, bias, and politics, in the Lake County Judicial System in Tavares, Florida. At age 80, God again revealed Himself to Virginia. He told her to remind the world that His Ten Commandments are forever, and the End of Days are here. Our Founding Fathers birthed Man's Laws in the U.S. Constitution, based on the Bible and God's Ten Commandments. Since then, man has failed to create, amend, and enforce laws that conform to God's laws. The Holy Spirit inspired Virginia's writing of this biblical journey. From God's Creation of the world 6000 years ago to the End of Days and beyond, Holy Scriptures document the prophetic message that Jesus Christ is mandatory for mankind's salvation, and He is coming very soon!
