GOD Gave Me Visionary Song Writings is a unique book of true life stories, and powerful songs. Martha would often sing and share the words of the songs with her oldest sister; until one morning, her sister said, "get those songs, and words published." It was then, Martha prayed about it as she waited for God’s timing. Then,In 2002,the spirit of God spoke to her again, and said,You’re pregnant with child,Martha replied, "how can that be?" The voice of God said, “when you birth Joshua (salvation), you will sing." It was then Martha began writing God Gave Me Visionary Song Writings, to share what God Gave Me; even when you are faced with limitations, and also fill yourselves within with the words of God and know that you are victorious in him. "A Spirit to Love" was the first song that God gave Martha in a dream. This song “reach beyond friends to enemies and persecutors.” Matthew 5:44. "Hold On" was given in a dream also. Martha dream that she stretched herself out on the earth and held on to the foundation of the word of God; while,interceding for souls (pulling them out of the pit). Remember to hold on until the blessing come, like "Jacob, he held on until the next day. Ge.22:24." Martha L. Alvarado was born as Martha Lee Isom and referred to as “MS. A.” by her Pre- K to High School students. She is a Educator, Mentor, Advocate, and a Prayer Warrior; so, after graduating from High School, Martha continued her higher education at The University OF Arizona; In Speech Communications, minored in Dance technique,and Theater Production. She was also a member of the Dance Repertoire at U of A throughout her undergraduate years and studied the Martha Graham and Alvin Alley dance technique. She also studied and perform with the late Han' ya Holmes at The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado; where, she studied Pedagogy for teaching. Martha strongly agree that all children should participate in the Fine Arts because "it is a component of the academics." In 1993 she was ordained in the ministry and assist Pastors in the area of “helps" in The Full Gospel Church, Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, The Churches of God in Christ, The Baptist Fellowship and The A.M.E.Church . Martha was also a guest of the Mississippi Mass Choir at Bishop T.D. Jake's 1997 Mortgage Burning service; Martha believe that "whatsoever ye do in word or deed,do all in the name of the Lord. God Gave Me a Song is the family history of Rev. Roberto "Bert" Bumanlag and his wife, Ruth, combined with poems composed at his keyboard as worship songs during retirement. Rev. Wayne and Virginia Wright, former Wesleyan missionaries to the Philippines, wrote this tribute for his funeral that best describes his life: Roberto became a part of our lives more than sixty years ago. There are some important words that we think of at this time that characterized his life. The first big word is "grace." Roberto did not become who he was because of money or any of the benefits that most people think are important. God chose Roberto out of what could have been a negative early beginning and brought him into his family through grace. We have no way of knowing what Roberto's life might have been without that wonderful grace of God to make a life meaningful that otherwise might have been wasted. Roberto Bumanlag's life is a testimony of what God can do through grace. The next big word is "giftedness." There are not many things anyone can do, but what Roberto could do better. God not only changed him through grace, he gifted him with abilities to do almost anything and do them well. His hands were gifted with the ability to make things beautiful. His voice was gifted to sing well for his Lord. He had an impressive mind to think and speak in God-honoring ways. Many years ago, when Roberto was a young student at Bible school and sometimes living with us in our home, there wasn't much that needed to be done that he could not do. We still have some things he made that we will remember him by. Throughout his long life, he gave himself to live faithfully using and expressing the many gifts God gave him. Another big word is "love." We will not remember Roberto so much for all the things he did--we will remember him because he was loving toward all he shared life with. He leaves behind him memories and evidences of his love for Ruth, for the children, and for all of us to whom he so often spoke words and did deeds of kindness.

God is to be worshipped. I knew that, but I did not know how. I asked the Lord one day how He wanted me to worship Him, and He gave me Worship Songs. Worship Songs are songs conveying God's love and plan for me while processing, delivering, and teaching me how to trust, to worship, to praise, and to thank Him, in every situation. They are songs of my surrendering, my releasing all care, my humbling myself, and my giving all place to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Worship Songs are songs of my getting to know Who the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are. They are songs that we are singing to one another--God's heart to my heart, my heart to God's heart, with God bringing out of my heart words that I did not know were there. Writing Worship Songs allowed me to experience God's comfort, care, encouragement, assurance, mercy, and grace, like never before. He lifted me and lifted me and lifted me up, with His presence, with His Word, with His Spirit, with His worship songs, with everything He knew I needed. He worked a wonderful work in me. Worship Songs are divine messages, commitments, promises, direction, and purpose. These songs are God-breathed, rooted, and grounded in love, set apart to bring about change in my life and the lives of readers.
