Evil is not an entity that exists in one single group of people, in a certain place, or in a particular time. Evil is a phenomenon, a desire, a thought, a philosophy, a means, and a practice that emerged when Adam and Eve broke their covenant with God. Today evil manifests itself in global terrorism, in dangerous philosophical ideals, in scientific hypotheses, and in traditions, cultures, and everyday acts that are not in line with Godbribes, sexual misconduct, abuse, bias, corruption, and inappropriate words and actions alike. God Rises against ISIS is about God, people, and good and evilit is about life. Jesus said in the gospel of John 10:10, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Author Mouhannad Moses demonstrates this fact in its most intrinsic elements, showing how from history to philosophy, from fiction to science, and from religion to atheism, the two absolutes of good and evil triumph in virtue of their realities. But the only other absolute that determines their prevalence is God. Take a good look at the world. What do you see? There is too much evil and not enough good. The equation is simple and cannot be falsified; people with God is equal to good, while people without God is equal to evil. The time is now to embrace God and add to the good.

When a respected Christian communicator read the question posed by the New York Times, he chose to travel to Jordan and Iraq in search of answers. What he discovered left him amazed and inspired. While the news coverage of ISIS focuses on the horrors wrought by this group, there is another side to the story that rarely gets told. While terror is on the rise, Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus like never before. Charles Morris regularly reminds the 500,000 listeners of his Haven Today radio show that "it's all about Jesus," and through his new book--Fleeing Isis, Finding Jesus--he offers a unique, compelling account of the miraculous ways in which Jesus is transforming lives in the Middle East today. As Charles narrates his travels around the region, he shares with readers not just the good news of how Jesus is at work, but he also invites us to wonder how our own lives might be transformed as a result.

Why would anybody believe that God could sanction terrorism? Why has the rediscovery of religion’s power in recent years manifested in such a bloody way? What, if anything, can be done about it? Terror in the Mind of God, now in its fourth edition, answers these questions and more. Thoroughly revised and expanded, the book analyzes in detail terrorism related to almost all the world’s major religious traditions: European Christians who oppose Muslim immigrants; American Christians who support abortion clinic bombings and militia actions; Muslims in the Middle East associated with the rise of ISIS, al Qaeda, and Hamas; Israeli Jews who support the persecution of Palestinians; India's Hindus linked to assaults on Muslims in the state of Gujarat and Sikhs identified with the assassination of Indira Gandhi; and Buddhist militants in Myanmar affiliated with anti-Muslim violence and in Japan with the nerve gas attack in Tokyo’s subway. Drawing from extensive personal interviews, Mark Juergensmeyer takes readers into the mindset of those who perpetrate and support violence in the name of religion. Identifying patterns within these cultures of violence, he explains why and how religion and violence are linked and how acts of religious terrorism are undertaken not only for strategic reasons but to accomplish a symbolic purpose. Terror in the Mind of God continues to be an indispensible resource for students of religion and modern society.

With ISIS on the rise, what do we need to know? ISIS—a name that inspires fear, a group that is gaining momentum. Horrors unheard of are plaguing the Middle East, and ISIS may be responsible for the worst among them. And yet there is so much we don’t know about ISIS: Where did ISIS come from? How is ISIS distinguished from other terrorist groups? Could ISIS play a role in the end times? What does ISIS mean for Israel? What impact could these events have on the United States? How should believers respond? In The ISIS Crisis, authors Charles Dyer and Mark Tobey answer these questions and more. Drawing from history, current events, and biblical prophecy, they guide readers through the matrix of conflicts in the Middle East. Then they explore the role of ISIS in all of these matters. Finally, they encourage Christians to look to Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

The Secret Weapon Against Terrorism written by Daniel Ogweno and has been published by Xulon Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-10 with categories.

In this book, Ogweno is not seeking God's best answer for terrorism but God's personal intervention. He points out the difference it makes when God Himself shows up in the hearts of both the terrorist and the terrorized. God's law, for example, is perfect-His best (Psalm 19:7), but some religious people almost executed a woman based on their understanding of this law. All this changed when, instead of "God's best," God Himself showed up (John 8:3-11). The books that have been written on terrorism are basically descriptive and informative. In this book, however, Ogweno compellingly turns the light on to the prescriptive and transformative Secret Weapon Against Terrorism. He maintains: "Our greatest desire is to bring back civility, sanity and security so that we can travel, work and gather in social places without fear. We don't seek to understand terrorism more than we long to stop it." This book, therefore, doesn't describe the problem, it prescribes the solution. In the morning hours of January 22nd 1989, Ogweno "stumbled" on what he had been unknowingly seeking-something that would quench the sensual cravings in his life. He met Christ and was sensationally saved. Since then, he has passionately pursued God's pleasure. Ogweno believes that God spoke to him, saying: 'I am going to give you My best!' But he answered and said: 'Lord, I need more than Your best; I need You-Personally!" That was Ogweno's quest. The result, as he puts it, "God didn't just give me His best, He gave me Himself in the person of Christ." Ogweno holds Bachelor of Education (Moi University, Kenya) and M.Phil. in Mass Communication and Media Studies (University of Bergen, Norway). He is married to Laura Caroline and they are blessed with two boys: Victor and Jim-Jif, and a girl: Baraka.

King Solomon is known as the wisest and richest man to have ever lived, but who was this man really? Even though we read his words in the Bible, this man who was the son of “the man after God’s own heart” remains a mystery to this day. Even his death is veiled in conspiracy theories. How could a man who was granted his greatest wish by God Himself be so enamored with the pleasures of this world—hungry for sex, power, and more wealth? In King Solomon’s Empire, Archie and Margaret Roy take an in-depth look into the life of the wise king and the kingdom he led. Through this study, the reader will come to understand the time in which King Solomon ruled, enter into the temple that he built for his God, and follow his path to a life of “striving after wind.” While the mystery still remains unsolved, perhaps the reader will come to learn some lessons from the man and avoid some of the pitfalls in their own life, as there is truly “nothing new under the sun.”
