A Prayer Mandate comprises a life time of lessons which actually Reflects the Heart of GOD . When an official order is given, it is expected to be carried out and completed. Such a mandate is thought out carefully by one in authority, that it may be charged to one who is trained and fully equipped for the mission. This book is about a mandate received and met within forty days.In order to be about our Father's business, our lives must reflect what is important to God. This mandate given was not just too pray or about prayer. But it is actually about the things that are important to God and the lessons we must retain from it. When our lives reflect His Heart, it is then that we become effective for the Kingdom. What does it mean to Reflect the Heart of God And does the bible even talk about the Heart of God? The answer to both: A reflection gives back, sends back, and throws back the exact of what is presented in sight, sound, and existent. God is real, and though we cannot see Him the bible tells us that we were created in His image; therefore, we should mirror the very characteristics of God. The bible teaches us of what God stands for through His Commandments to us. His commandments and His inspired words from the Old Testament through the New Testament tell us what is in His heart. And that which is in the Heart of God has not changed any today. Moses gave the children of Israel the Ten Commandments throughout several scriptures, and Jesus did the same within two scriptures. All that is holy, righteous, and good dwells in the Heart of God, these attributes have been revealed throughout the entire bible and He desires that our lives reflect that which dwells in His very heart that which is of ultimate importance to Him. And that is what the phrase means and refers to as part of the title of this book, Reflecting the heart of God . Out of God's loving mercy, He delegated this mandate. I am grateful that I heard, and still have an ear to hear that which is important to the Lord. This book is meant to provoke the church to seek Him now. It is meant to wake you from your lethargic spiritual life and to arouse you to become more like Christ. It is quite obvious and we speak of it all so lightly that we are living in and are approaching the last days of time. If the church truly believe this is so, then I say to you sleeping giant "awake and put on the Lord Jesus Christ" for the need is great of being about our Father's business. My intentions are to fan the zeal and passion that has begun to smolder inside of you. My intentions are to motivate and encourage you into action for the Lord. My intentions are to provoke and to tempt you to hunger and thirst for the heart of God, and to sound an alarm in your spirit regarding these life time lessons. Many alarms have sounded in the past. Some prophetic, energetic; some theological, inscrutable, debatable, insatiable, ever explainable, but many never retainable alarms. Yet, we still sleep. My prayer is that we awake, seek God's heart, and then get busy being about our Father?'s business.

You cannot make it without God’s mercy. Do we just need God’s grace in dark and shameful moments? Are prayers for mercy only for those times when we really mess up? Jonathan Parnell says we need God’s mercy all the time. In fact, contrary to many church cultures, Parnell shows that asking God for mercy should be as regular as asking God for our daily bread. There’s no doubt that David was in a terrible predicament when he first prayed the words of Psalm 51. It was a dark and shameful moment in the Bible, and one so dark and shameful it seldom feels relevant to us today. But David’s most desperate prayer is really a prayer for all of us—and not just for our worst moments, but for our every moment. In these pages, you'll discover: how to pray a daily, memorable prayer derived from Psalm 51 how to practice daily repentance and soul care how to pursue God and experience his joy in the Christian life This is God’s mercy, and it’s Mercy for Today.

What is the church's mission in the 21st century? Malaysian apostle and missiologist Dexter Low says "nation transformation" must become our new agenda for fulfilling the Great Commission in our time. The current model, which calls for uniting the church's leaders worldwide to win 1 billion souls and plant 5 million churches by 2021, isn't working. Ultimately it cannot because its emphasis on church planting and evangelism excludes social transformation. But when the key pillars of social influence are also realigned according to kingdom principles, then your nation, any nation, will be transformed. God's Mandate for Transforming Your Nation provides practical instructions on advancing God's kingdom globally. True examples of ways that lead to measurable results are included. Low will both challenge and inspire you as a Christian leader to take a significant step forward in fulfilling the church's mission in the 21st century.

Spiritual Warfare And Missions written by Jerry Rankin and has been published by B&H Publishing Group this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-06-01 with Religion categories.

The mission of God to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19, HCSB) is a major target of spiritual warfare today. In this new book by International Mission Board president Jerry Rankin and noted missiologist Ed Stetzer, the authors call out Satan’s ongoing strategy to convince Christians that the Great Commission is optional. Through deceit, he is eroding the authoritative mandate of Scripture, leading believers to tell themselves that international discipleship is a task better left to denomination and mission agencies—not the sort of kingdom work that every believer can do. But for every evil success, Rankin and Stetzer point to where Satan is failing, thus encouraging readers to renew their passion to declare God’s glory among the nations. Indeed, by taking up the call to action here, we can be sure that the kingdoms of the world will become the kingdom of the Lord.

Winner, 2007 Christianity Today Missions/Global Affairs Book Most Christians would agree that the Bible provides a basis for mission. But Christopher Wright boldly maintains that mission is bigger than that--there is in fact a missional basis for the Bible! The entire Bible is generated by and is all about God's mission. In order to understand the Bible, we need a missional hermeneutic of the Bible, an interpretive perspective that is in tune with this great missional theme. We need to see the "big picture" of God's mission and how the familiar bits and pieces fit into the grand narrative of Scripture. Beginning with the Old Testament and the groundwork it lays for understanding who God is, what he has called his people to be and do, and how the nations fit into God's mission, Wright gives us a new hermeneutical perspective on Scripture. This new perspective provides a solid and expansive basis for holistic mission. Wright emphasizes throughout a holistic mission as the proper shape of Christian mission. God's mission is to reclaim the world--and that includes the created order--and God's people have a designated role to play in that mission.

Discover the tools to create a new kind of church and move from merely surviving to thriving. Drawing on an extensive two-year field study of 200 churches from a variety of denominations and geographic regions, Milfred Minatrea--a missiologist, urban strategist and practioner in minister--presents the best practices for re-energizing Christian spirituality in a congregational setting. He provides readers with the tools for assessing their congregation’s position on the continuum between maintenance and mission and for determining the actions that will move them toward becoming a missional community. He also outlines key strategies that successful churches have used to become relevant in a postmodern society without losing what is distinctly Christian in their spiritual practices. Milfred Minatrea (Irving, TX) is Director of the Missional Church Center for the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
