God Saved Me is written to encourage believers to be aware of their position in Christ and be willing to prepare their minds and hearts for the challenges ahead. Then, believers should be available to participate in sharing the good news whenever and with whomever God gives the opportunity. God Saved Me addresses critical concerns for outreach and witnessing, focusing on the local churchs responsibility; the importance of prayer in witnessing; reliance on the Word of God; dealing with fear and guilt; being approved as a person of faith; making Christ the topic; and development of a personal testimony that can be shared repeatedly. This book speaks directly to the need for believers to come together in support of one another and make a commitment to follow Christs directive to make disciples wherever an opportunity is presented. Using anecdotal comments and personal accounts of outreach, God Saved Me provides fresh insight to help believers respond to the need for people of faith to get in the fight for the souls of their families, friends, and loved ones. Rev. Wylie Comp has written one of the most comprehensive books on the subject of Christian witnessing that I have ever had the privilege of reading or reviewing. God Saved Me is written on a level that anyone can understand and use as a guide for becoming an effective Christian soldier in the army of God. Dr. Gerald F. I remember sitting in a criminal justice class in a University. I was presented by one of my professors with Jose Albert Garcia's case. I wondered what had ever happened to Jose, and why nobody had ever done a book, if films about his case were done already. I wanted to pass on the message of how powerful God is. Here was a 17-year old boy on death row, days away from being executed and God miraculously saved him. It just was not Jose's time to go, and God still wants him alive. He has a certain plan for him that only He knows. There is a reason why Jose is still alive today. This case proved that no man, society, money, judge or political power can beat God's divine forces, will, or power. If God wants you alive, you will remain alive. This book took two years in the making, one year to gain Jose's trust and the other in the actual gathering of information from Jose Alberto Garcia.

A Moment With God written by Denis Nyamweya and has been published by Independently Published this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-08-19 with categories.

'A Moment with God' is an inspirational and motivational treatise. The title was born out of my exigent experience in the world of Salvation. I gave my life to the Lord, yet I never knew what it meant to be born again. I was like in a completely alien world, where I had never been before. Consequently, I learned that new believers struggle tremendously in the seemingly unknown world of Salvation, so much so that, many end up despairing. A Moment with God offers very fundamental information and motivation to new believers. The book gives some kind of reconnaissance information regarding the new world of Salvation, what to expect, and more so the immense role of Jesus Christ as the Savior of the whole World. The book profoundly borrows from my personal experiences, but tactically compounds these narratives with the Word of God and my spiritual knowledge. I not only wish that this book be a source of information and encouragement to new believers, but also parents, nonbelievers, and anyone who wants to know Jesus Christ more. I encourage parents to read the book because I have explored the issue of domestic violence in homes and how the vice has a long-term negative implication on children. The effects usually lead to drug abuse, depression, and even suicide. I grew up in a home where domestic violence was a norm. My foster father was so violent that he could force me to sleep naked inside cold water at night; and yet, I was only 8 years old then. The torture that my mommy and I suffered plunged me to drug abuse and addiction, as well as many other ills such as visiting diviners. In the book, I have explored other practices such as divination and sorcery that parents engage in without taking into account the strongholds they are predisposing their children and family into. A Moment with God is a journey of Salvation and growth in the Lord, which could encourage anyone. The Lord saved me and gave me an opportunity to have a relationship with Him, even when I was so wicked. In fact, the Lord used a dream to rescue me from substance addiction. I found myself standing next to the endless pit in hell. After this dream, details of which I have given in part two of the book, addiction evaporated like thin air; and today I feel so much indebted to the Lord for saving me and giving me an opportunity to know Him. My experiences with the Lord would also affirm the existence of the spiritual world, for those who doubt. The book also speaks about dreams and tongues, subjects that many Christians grapple with. The book would truly encourage your spiritual growth in the Lord and more so help you to navigate in the world of Salvation.

Glorious Weakness written by Alia Joy and has been published by Baker Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-04-02 with Religion categories.

As a girl, Alia Joy came face to face with weakness, poverty, and loss in ways that made her doubt God was good. There were times when it felt as if God had abandoned her. What she didn't realize then was that God was always there, calling her to abandon herself. In this deeply personal exploration of what it means to be "poor in spirit," Joy challenges our cultural proclivity to "pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps." She calls on readers to embrace true vulnerability and authenticity with God and with one another, showing how weakness does not disqualify us from inclusion in the kingdom of God--instead, it is our very invitation to enter in. Anyone who has struggled with feeling inadequate, disillusioned, or just too broken will find hope. This message is an antidote to despair, helping readers reclaim the ways God is good, even when life is anything but.

Once Saved Always Saved written by David Pawson and has been published by Anchor this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-07-30 with Religion categories.

The majority Evangelical view is that once someone has accepted Christ as Saviour they are guaranteed salvation. But is it safe to assume that once we are saved, we are saved for always? David Pawson investigates this through biblical evidence, historical figures such as Augustine, Luther and Wesley, and evangelical assumptions about grace and justification, divine sovereignty and human responsibility. He asks whether something more than being born again is required so that our inheritance is not lost. This book helps us decide whether ‘once saved, always saved’ is real assurance or a misleading assumption. The answer will have profound effects on the way we live and disciple others.

This easy to read book will give you the hope and inspiration you need as you begin the process of recovery from addiction. As you take this journey from hell to recovery with George, you will discover insights that will motivate and encourage you to seek the road to recovery. There is no complex scientific data here, just straightforward information that will give you the best chance for recovery. The importance of the 12-step programs already in existence (which are based on Biblical principles) are also discussed, but the author adds a spiritual dimension to recovery by emphasizing the miraculous power and love available through Jesus Christ. You can get a jump-start on recovery by reflecting on the author’s journey, becoming aware of the 12-step programs, and contemplating the faith that inspired the song “Amazing Grace.” Even though the author felt hopeless at times and thought about giving up, deep down he knew that God was working in his life and saving him for a reason. That reason is revealed in this book as he encourages you to believe that life can be a wonderful experience. You’ll laugh and cry as you take this journey with George Snodgrass. You have nothing to lose and your life to gain.
