Far from Tearmann, within three solar systems, on the three governing Kreel Hub planets, the Kreel Elite and their Marshalls had finalized and begun to execute their plans to expand their Empire. Their massive assembled Armada was then staging for its departure and conquest of multiple solar systems. The decision where and when the armada would first strike was firmly set. As an arrow shot from a compound bow, once launched, that armada would not be turning back. By fate and circumstance, five battle weary Guardian cruisers found themselves far from home and position to oppose the main thrust of the Kreel invasion. Their new orders were to make a stand. While waiting for promised resupply, and the vague assurance of whatever limited additional Guardian cruisers HQ might be able to send, the desperate defenders began seeking an elusive tactical edge that might permit them to survive the upcoming battle. As the five cruisers were bracing for battle, nearly one-hundred light years distant, a single Guardian cruiser on deep reconnaissance was executing its final two acts. Having come under attack by an elite Kreel force, outnumbered, and heavily damaged, the cruiser's single surviving crew was the ship's AI. Sending a Cobalt Blue encrypted message detailing its pending self-destruction, with its final defiant act it destroyed its remaining attackers, and itself. Contained within its Cobalt Blue message was a mystery that once solved would reshape Guardian Force, and draw it deep within the Kreel Empire on a covert Intelligence Probe in force. What could possibly go wrong?

The Tirgonian Empire, always on the hunt for conquest and expansion, does not consider the efforts of the rebel Guardians a serious threat to their imperial plans. After a series of devastating conflicts, the Guardians have suffered massive losses to their forces but not their resolve. They continue to fight their way into Tirgonian territory, undaunted by defeat. Even though the Guardians are focused on escaping the Tirgonian forces, commanded by Telecoup Mular, tension mounts between several of the Guardian survivors. The few remaining Guardians are bolstered by the arrival of additional survivors, but the initial contact does not go smoothly. The survivors arrive on a new sort of spaceship, one that the Guardians have never seen. Once the Guardians realize their mistakes, it is revealed that there are more concealed ships, hopefully increasing their chances of survival. The Guardians must now invent unique solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems. The unexpected defection of a senior Tirgonian officer named Telebisque Serligh Teka, his entire crew, and their Fighting Star Palup is a welcome boost to the weary rebel effort. Renewed, the Guardians continue fighting their way across enemy territory. Against seemingly insurmountable odds, can the Guardians prevail? And if so, at what cost?

Two diverse branches of humanity-once separated by light years and millenniums-are reunited through a twist of fate. Confronted with a compelling common need for survival, multiple human worlds come together to oppose the devastating aggression of an expanding alien empire: the Kreel. As the Kreel threaten to engulf Earth, its various Governments realize just how far behind the technology power-curve they really are. Lacking superluminal technology, and woefully ignorant of their newfound allies from distant stars, Earth's people are scrambling like backwater cousins to catch-up as humanity is immersed in an interstellar conflict. Earth's tenuous hope for survival rests squarely on the overextended military capability of distant Glas Dinnein's Guardian Force. Set in the year 2514, Earth Guardian is the second volume of a new SF series, pure science fiction combining the genres of military and high adventure. The first volume is Guardian Force. The sequels are Guardian Probe and Guardian Strike, which GalaxyQuestBooks.com has scheduled for release in 2013.

UK ties with Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf monarchies are under the spotlight as never before. Huge controversy surrounds Britain’s alliances with these deeply repressive regimes, and the UK’s key supporting role in the disastrous Saudi-led intervention in Yemen has lent added urgency to the debate. What lies behind the British government’s decision to place politics before principles in the Gulf? Why have Anglo-Arabian relations grown even closer in recent years, despite ongoing, egregious human rights violations? In this ground-breaking analysis, David Wearing argues that the Gulf Arab monarchies constitute the UK’s most important and lucrative alliances in the global south. They are central both to the British government’s ambitions to retain its status in the world system, and to its post-Brexit economic strategy. Exploring the complex and intertwined structures of UK-Gulf relations in trade and investment, arms sales and military cooperation, and energy, Wearing shines a light on the shocking lengths to which the British state has gone in order to support these regimes. As these issues continue to make the headlines, this book lifts the lid on ‘AngloArabia’ and what’s at stake for both sides.
