The Audible Life Stream, or Primordial Sound Current, is the all-pervasive universal consciousness within everyone. Few realise there is credible evidence indicating that Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, and so on, all perfected the meditative technique of turning their attention inwards, thereby merging with the Audible Life Stream, to become adepts of dying while living. The Audible Life Stream: Ancient Secret of Dying While Living is the first book to provide convincing evidence of the Audible Life Stream and emphasise the importance of it to every human being, since none of us can escape the clutches of the Lord of Death. This unique book provides evidence of the Audible Life Stream from a variety of sources, including, independent testimonials of near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences from people in USA, UK and Australia; excerpts from major religious texts; simply explained quantum physics principles; and independent anecdotes from the increasingly popular field of sound/music therapy.

Warfare, ritual human sacrifice, and the rubber ballgame have been the traditional categories through which scholars have examined organized violence in the artistic and material records of ancient Mesoamerica and Central America. This volume expands those traditional categories to include such concerns as gladiatorial-like boxing combats, investiture rites, trophy-head taking and display, dark shamanism, and the subjective pain inherent in acts of violence. Each author examines organized violence as a set of practices grounded in cultural understandings, even when the violence threatens the limits of those understandings. The authors scrutinize the representation of, and relationships between, different types of organized violence, as well as the implications of those activities, which can include the unexpected, such as violence as a means of determining and curing illness, and the use of violence in negotiation strategies.

The Nine Freedoms is not just another book—it is a Mission of Truth given to mortal man so that he may climb the nine steps to—Living Immortality. It is the first Metaphysical text book which clearly outlines the exact path through Evolution which man must take in order to become God-man. This book will give all who read it the major steps towards attainment of the wonderful state of Cosmic Consciousness, then later explain how to pass through the most elevated state possible to man upon Earth, that of—Ascension. Yet, The Nine Freedoms does not stop here! It goes even further than the Bible, the Baghavad-Gita, or the Buddhist conception of Nirvana. For within these pages, the sacred wisdom, kept from man since his inception upon Earth, is now given, revealing the way in which he will eventually attain the glorious state of—Interplanetary Existence. The book consists of a mystical text of profound philosophical and occult significance and a searching commentary on the most important parts of this text. The soul of this book is the Text, which was delivered as 9 consecutive Transmissions by a prominent Master of unquestionable Cosmic Status. The body of this book is made up of the commentary written as a series of carefully thought out essays which reveal the profound Truths contained within the words of the unique Text. As the body of man is a physical reflection of his soul, so are the commentaries a reflection and readily understandable simplification of the all-embracing jewels of Wisdom which form the Mystical Text. As the pages of The Nine Freedoms are turned, the reader becomes aware that he is being taken on the longest, the most dramatic, most important journey of all—the voyage across the nine seas of his Evolution. Here, for the first time in history, the passage through the classrooms of Earth to glorious worlds of lasting achievement beyond—is laid out in intimate detail. The same profound effect which was experienced by those serious, Metaphysical student already exposed to a series of lectures on The Nine Freedoms, will be enjoyed by every reader, especially as no one will read this book by chance. The individual Karmic pattern of every student of this text book has determined that he shall be given the Divine opportunity of an Initiation into Truths never before revealed to mankind.

Ontology Of Consciousness written by Helmut Wautischer and has been published by MIT Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-04-11 with Philosophy categories.

Scholars from many different disciplines examine consciousness through the lens of intellectual approaches and cultures ranging from cosmology research and cell biophysics laboratories to pre-Columbian Mesoamerica and Tibetan Tantric Buddhism in a volume that extends consciousness studies beyond the limits of current neuroscience research. The "hard problem" of today's consciousness studies is subjective experience: understanding why some brain processing is accompanied by an experienced inner life. Recent scientific advances offer insights for understanding the physiological and chemical phenomenology of consciousness. But by leaving aside the internal experiential nature of consciousness in favor of mapping neural activity, such science leaves many questions unanswered. In Ontology of Consciousness, scholars from a range of disciplines—from neurophysiology to parapsychology, from mathematics to anthropology and indigenous non-Western modes of thought—go beyond these limits of current neuroscience research to explore insights offered by other intellectual approaches to consciousness. These scholars focus their attention on such philosophical approaches to consciousness as Tibetan Tantric Buddhism, North American Indian insights, pre-Columbian Mesoamerican civilization, and the Byzantine Empire. Some draw on artifacts and ethnographic data to make their point. Others translate cultural concepts of consciousness into modern scientific language using models and mathematical mappings. Many consider individual experiences of sentience and existence, as seen in African communalism, Hindi psychology, Zen Buddhism, Indian vibhuti phenomena, existentialism, philosophical realism, and modern psychiatry. Some reveal current views and conundrums in neurobiology to comprehend sentient intellection. Icons Of Power written by Nicholas J. Saunders and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-04-15 with Social Science categories.

Icons of Power investigates why the image of the cat has been such a potent symbol in the art, religion and mythology of indigenous American cultures for three thousand years. The jaguar and the puma epitomize ideas of sacrifice, cannibalism, war, and status in a startling array of graphic and enduring images. Natural and supernatural felines inhabit a shape-shifting world of sorcery and spiritual power, revealing the shamanic nature of Amerindian world views. This pioneering collection offers a unique pan-American assessment of the feline icon through the diversity of cultural interpretations, but also striking parallels in its associations with hunters, warriors, kingship, fertility, and the sacred nature of political power. Evidence is drawn from the pre-Columbian Aztec and Maya of Mexico, Peruvian, and Panamanian civilizations, through recent pueblo and Iroquois cultures of North America, to current Amazonian and Andean societies. This well-illustrated volume is essential reading for all who are interested in the symbolic construction of animal icons, their variable meanings, and their place in a natural world conceived through the lens of culture. The cross-disciplinary approach embraces archaeology, anthropology, and art history.
