Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Pädagogische Soziologie, Note: 2,3, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der folgenden Hausarbeit möchte ich mich mit der Frage auseinander setzen, ob häusliche Gewalt ein Problem in unserer Gesellschaft darstellt, welches zwar allgegenwärtig ist, von welchem viele Menschen jedoch ein falsches Bild bekommen können, auf Grund dessen, dass sie die Augen vor der Problematik verschließen. Nachdem ich mich mit den verschiedenen Formen häuslicher Gewalt auseinander gesetzt habe, möchte ich im Hinblick auf die Opferrolle aufzeigen, dass, viele Menschen oft glauben, dass nicht nur Frauen Opfer von Gewalt im sozialen Nahraum werden, sondern auch eine Vielzahl von Männern betroffen sind, und wie Kinder, selbst wenn sie keine Gewalt am eigenen Leib erfahren, Opfer von Gewalt innerhalb der Familie werden. Ich werde mich darüber hinaus, hinsichtlich der Gesellschaft im Kontext häuslicher Gewalt mit der Rolle der Massenmedien auseinander setzen und erörtern, ob und inwieweit die mediale Darstellung häuslicher Gewalt der realen Wirklichkeit entspricht. Anhand der gewonnen Erkenntnisse will ich dann, bezugnehmend auf die Opfertypen, speziell die Rolle der Kinder darstellen und den Fokus auf die Folgen für die Betroffenen legen, wenn es diesen nicht gelingt aus dem gewalttätigen Umfeld zu entkommen und sie teilweise über einen längeren Zeitraum hinweg Opfer von häuslichen bzw. extremen Gewaltsituationen geworden sind.
