Nun mag ja die Anfertigung eines Katalogs als eine ziemlich einfache Sache erscheinen; bei der Arbeit stellen sich aber haufig gewisse Schwierigkeiten ein. Der Anfanger - und an diesen wendet sich vorliegendes Werk hauptsachlich - wird ofter in Zweifel geraten, wie er ein Werk einordnen soll, damit es an die richtige stelle kommt und leicht aufzufinden ist. Der Geschaftsmann muss bei der Beurteilung und Bewertung der von ihm zu verzeichnenden Werke verschiedene andere Punkte berucksichtigen und hervorheben, wenn er sich nicht lacherlich machen und schadigen will.
