Prepare for a harrowing ride through the universe by the New York Times–bestselling author of Startide Rising and The Postman. Book Three in the Uplift Storm Trilogy The peaceful existence of six outcast races on Jijo has ended. Ancient enemies, the Jophur, have discovered them, preparing to subject the refugees to their dark, perverted plans. The Jijoans’ only hope is the same ship that accidently led their foes to the planet. The Earthship Streaker, with its crew of uplifted dolphins and a human commander, must somehow lure the Jophur into a chase through space . . . into the unknown. And then into the weird. More than just the fate of Jijo—or that of distant Earth, also suffering a deadly siege—hangs in the balance. Some believe a terrifying prophecy is about to come true, one that involves Streaker’s trove of artifacts coveted by factions throughout all Five Galaxies. As countless white dwarf stars verge on unexpected explosion, all sentient life in the universe appears to be at risk unless someone can save them. It S Easier To Reach Heaven Than The End Of The Street written by Emma Williams and has been published by Bloomsbury UK this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-01-01 with Americans categories.

In August 2000 Emma Williams arrived with her three small children in Jerusalem to join her husband and to work as a doctor. A month later the Palestinian intifada erupted. For the next three years, she was to witness an astonishing series of events in which hundreds of thousands of lives, including her own, were turned upside down. Williams lived on the very border of East and West Jerusalem, working with Palestinians in Ramallah during the day and spending evenings with Israelis in Tel Aviv. Weaving personal stories and conversations with friends and colleagues into the long and fraught political background, Williams' powerful memoir brings to life the realities of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. She vividly recalls giving birth to her fourth child during the siege of Bethlehem, and her horror when a suicide bomber blew his own head into the schoolyard where her children played each day. Understanding in her judgement, yet unsparing in her honesty, Williams exposes the humanity as well as the hypocrisy at the heart of both sides' experiences. Anyone wanting to understand this intractable and complex dispute will find this unique account a refreshing and an illuminating read.

The writer never having an interest in reading or writing poetry suddenly after the loss of a nine month old grandchild Sarita to a tragic accident began hearing a beautiful subtle voice that would not stop until the voice was written. The writings were poems that delivered a message of love and compassion to humanity. The first messages heard were those of people who had died and the words were in first person as narrated by the heard voice. I began to wonder if my own death was imminent and I was to leave these messages to my children, when the fear subsided, Babies From Heaven started to be heard, these are babies coming from heaven and telling their parents of their arrival, then All of us in Between for mothers, fathers' sons' daughters, and all of humanity. Each poem was voiced in it's entirety with the urgence for the writer to put on paper. Every word is exactly as it was heard, the message is of love and compassion touching the hearts of all who read them. The name Messages From Heaven is what they truly are voiced by angels to ease the pain and grief of the writer. The poems since 1994 have been used to give to our hospice client's family, which they treasure. Recently a person asked me if I beleived in God and when I answered yes, he asked me if I did not think that God had given me these poems to share with humanity, immediately I decided to have them published.
