Las mujeres y las personas LGBTIQ+ (Lesbianas, gay, bisexuales, transgénero, intersexuales y queer) enfrentaron diversos tipos de violencias en el conflicto armado, sin embargo, las violencias sexual y por prejuicio las afectaron de manera diferenciada y desproporcionada. A pesar de ello, este tipo de violencias no han sido tan visibles como otras, pues son difíciles de denunciar y las víctimas temen enfrentar estigmatizaciones y revictimizaciones. Ante este escenario, para superar la impunidad frente a estos hechos los actores judiciales se enfrentan al desafío de comprender estas formas de violencia y sus características particulares, para construir estrategias que logren hacerlas visibles, eviten prácticas discriminatorias y revictimizantes y al mismo tiempo se garanticen los derechos de las víctimas a la verdad, la justicia y la reparación. Somos conscientes de las dificultades de investigar este tipo de violencias, pero consideramos que hay avances y aprendizajes desde la justicia ordinaria que pueden ser ilustrativos. Por eso, en esta cartilla unificamos estos distintos instrumentos y contenidos de tal manera que sean de utilidad para las y los funcionarios de la Jurisdicción Especial para la Paz para construir las vías de investigación que atiendan a las particularidades de estas violencias.
