The Revelation to John has been with us for about 2000 years and has been the subject of diverse attempts at interpretation. The Revelation as given is a vision of the end time work of the Son of Man and the sole purpose is to prepare humanity for that mission and offer them the chance to recognise the last Envoy of God when He does come. It is only with this understanding in view that the Revelation can be appreciated. All the promised messages for the end-time are now available to us and I believe we are in a better position to understand the message of The Revelation. Indeed, I believe that we urgently need to understand its message. The urge and pressure amongst all striving human spirits to unravel the mysteries of The Revelation represents this need. This study is not a substitute for The Revelation, but may be regarded as a call for a deeper study and hopefully an awakening to the need to experience the times in a more alert manner. The work is offered in the recognition that the Revelation is being fulfilled in this epoch and as such is a must read for all striving human spirits

The acclaimed and accessible Hidden in Plain Sight series showcases the extraordinary contributions made by Aboriginal peoples to Canadian identity and culture. This collection features new accounts of Aboriginal peoples working hard to improve their lives and those of other Canadians, and serves as a powerful contrast to narratives that emphasize themes of victimhood, displacement, and cultural disruption. In this second volume of the series, leading scholars and other experts pay tribute to the enduring influence of Aboriginal peoples on Canadian economic and community development, environmental initiatives, education, politics, and arts and culture. Interspersed are profiles of many significant Aboriginal figures, including singer-songwriter and educator Buffy Sainte-Marie, politician Elijah Harper, entrepreneur Dave Tuccaro, and musician Robbie Robertson. Hidden in Plain Sight continues to enrich and broaden our understandings of Aboriginal and Canadian history, while providing inspiration for a new generation of leaders and luminaries.

To understand ourselves, and fulfill our roles on earth we need to look into the records of time for our origin and purpose. Not in history books but in life itself! Each individual human spirit carries within its personality, as a totality of its identity, all the experiences and the level of maturity it has achieved since its first incarnation in the Worlds of Matter. Although we do not often tap into these for our path in life, it is these unique experiences that make us who we are. The capacity to weigh every experience, written and unwritten exists within us and we have only ourselves to blame if we fail to recognize the Truth in any given experience. This book discusses the path of development for the human spirit in the Material spheres and draws attention to the paths in the Will of God we must follow if we are to fulfill the purpose of our existence.

The art of discovering cultural and natural treasures in everyday landscapes In the course of the mundane routines of life, we encounter a variety of landscapes and objects, either ignoring them or looking without interest at what appears to be just a tree, stone, anonymous building, or dirt road. But the "deep traveler," according to Hartford Courant essayist David K. Leff, doesn't make this mistake. Instead, the commonplace elements become the most important. By learning to see the magic in the mundane, we not only enrich daily life with a sense of place, we are more likely to protect and make those places better. Over his many years working at the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection and writing about the state's landscape, Leff gained unparalleled intimacy while traveling its byways and back roads. In Hidden in Plain Sight, Leff's essays and photographs take us on a point-by-point journey, revealing the rich stories behind many of Connecticut's overlooked landmarks, from the Merritt Parkway and Cornwall's Cathedral Pines to roadside rock art and centuries-old milestones.

Tracing the metaphor of America as the Book of Revelation’s New Jerusalem, Yii-Jan Lin shows how apocalyptic narratives have been used to exclude unwanted immigrants America appeared on the European horizon at a moment of apocalyptic expectation and ambition. Explorers and colonizers imagined the land to be paradise, the New Jerusalem of the Bible’s Book of Revelation. This groundbreaking volume explores the conceptualization of America as the New Jerusalem from the time of Columbus to the Puritan colonists, through U.S. expansion, and from the eras of Reagan to Trump. While the metaphor of the New Jerusalem has been useful in portraying a shining, God-blessed refuge with open gates, it has also been used to exclude, attack, and criminalize unwanted peoples. Yii-Jan Lin shows how newspapers, political speeches, sermons, cartoons, and novels throughout American history have used the language of Revelation to define immigrants as God’s enemies who must be shut out of the gates. This book exposes Revelation’s apocalyptic logic at work in the history of Chinese exclusion, the association of the unwanted with disease, the contradictions of citizenship laws, and the justification for building a U.S.-Mexico wall like the wall around the New Jerusalem. This book is a fascinating analysis of the religious, biblical, and apocalyptic in American immigration history and a damning narrative that weaves together American religious history, immigration and ethnic studies, and the use of biblical texts and imagery.

Jesus Christ and the apostles, along with Polycarp, Ignatius, and Hermes, carried the true Word of God deep into the first church age. Yet Satan attempted to infiltrate the true path of the Word with help from unbelievers who were more than willing to do his dirty work. Because of this, the structural religious imprints left by ancient pagan civilization began to take a toll on the religious denominational world in such a subtle manner that it has gone unnoticed. In Hidden Bible Truths in Plain View, author Windell Gillis explains how since the Bible is the only real and perfect truth, Christian history can only be real and true if it agrees completely with the Bible. This history does! Messengers to the seven church ages, who are revealed here, were able to turn the people back to God in each age, if only for a season. With Philo having perverted the definition of the Logos, which changed the way people worshipped with respect to the Godhead, and with so much confusion in the religious world—as proven by the forty thousand different denominational groups today—something must happen! And it did! The revelation of Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7 concerning the mystery of God is unveiled in Hidden Bible Truths in Plain View—to the shock of Christians worldwide.
