In Luke 16:15, Jesus said, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God." Could this statement be applied to much of our modern-day eschatology? This raises a question: How much of our modern-day eschatology is biblically based? What does the Bible actually say? In His Kingdom in Perspective, an attempt is made to search the scriptures to obtain all basis for what we believe. 2

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven is a prayer that has been prayed intensely by the body of Christ. I believe God is answering this prayer by directing Liza to put into writing what He has been teaching her & what she has journaled as to what this will look like in each believers life. This book is a timely message & also a warning to the body of Christ. He is coming soon. Are we prepared spiritually & mentally for the days ahead? Liza talks about preparing ourselves spiritually by having our eyes cemented on Him, our ears hearing His voice & His words of faith & the call for each one of us not to judge but to see the plan of God. Unity is key to the Kingdom. As you journey with her through her many encounters with the Holy Spirit, you will discover the power of intimacy. You will come to know the love of God, experience a supernatural increase in childlike faith, radically increase your expectation of His desire to be present in your life, and be challenged to a higher call and commitment. As Jesus return draws near, it will cost each of us everything. This is the cost of serving Him. Are we willing to walk in this place for Him? Are we yielded vessels that will surrender all if He asks? The Kingdom Perspective is a must read to understand the challenge of the times we are living in today.

'It has been slowly dawning on me over many years that there is a fundamental problem deep at the heart of Christian faith and practice as I have known them . . . we have all forgotten what the four Gospels are about.' With that surprising assertion, Tom Wright launches this ground-breaking work in which he helps us to see the gospel story in radically a new light, and to acknowledge that, for many generations, the Church has been avoiding its full impact and holding back from proclaiming its full meaning. 'Classic Wright: clear, accessible, robust, engaging and challenging.' Paula Gooder in Third Way 'Scholarly, accessible, insightful and provocative.' Christianity 'Wright argues compellingly that the twin themes of kingdom and cross are inseparably linked. . . This is a much-needed reorientation. The book makes its case for 'rethinking' cogently and deserves widespread attention.' Theology

Most Christians spend most of their waking hours working, yet many regard work as at best a necessary evil just one more unfortunate by-product of humanity s fall from grace. Not so, says Ben Witherington III, and in Work: A Kingdom Perspective on Labor, he considers work as neither the curse nor the cure of human life but, rather, as something good that God has given us to do. In this brief primer on the biblical theology and ethics of work, Witherington carefully unpacks the concept of work, considering its relationship to rest, play, worship, the normal cycle of human life, and the coming Kingdom of God. Work as calling, work as ministry, work as a way to make a living, and the notably unbiblical notion of retirement Witherington s Work engages these subjects and more, combining scholarly acumen with good humor, common sense, cultural awareness, and biblically based insights from Genesis to Revelation. Ben Witherington has given the whole people of God something desperately needed to make sense of Monday to Friday a theology of work that breaks down the heretical sacred-secular distinction. . . . Offers a work-view and life-view that, if embraced, would revitalize the mission of God s people in the world. It s that good. R. Paul Stevens author of The Other Six Days and Taking Your Soul to Work Conducting a critical dialogue with the theological voices of our day, drawing upon the wisdom of the Christian tradition, and offering a sensitive reading of New Testament parables, Witherington delivers sound counsel on the Kingdom meaning of work and its implications for our lives today. Jesus declared that the Gospel of the kingdom was to be preached into all the earth then shall the end come (Matthew 16:14). What is this Gospel of Kingdom? This commission given by our Lord begins with the fact that Gospel of Jesus Christ (Mark 1:1) is Kingdom's Gospel. It is building the Kingdom of God in the New Testament Church. Paul the Apostle makes it clear in Colossians 4:11 that he considers himself as a master builder of the New Testament Church and a laborer in the Kingdom of God. The entrance into the kingdom is by the new birth (1Tessalonians 2:12; Galatians 1:13; Hebrews 12:28).The Church and the Kingdom is not identical! The Kingdom of God is an everlasting kingdom. It is from eternity to eternity. It is a total rule and reign of God (Psalms 145:10,13; Exodus 15:18; Psalms 102; 19). There is the rule of God in His Kingdom in heaven and a present demonstration of His reign and rule in the earth through the church. God is the king of His kingdom. God as King declares everything under his authority and rule. Therefore, we must conclude that God sovereign will cover the earth and heaven and there will be no rule and reign of a King but one King, The Lord God Almighty. The Moslem is correct when he give credence to Allah (God), the Supreme.. God is the Supreme ruler of heaven and earth. God is concern about fulfilling His original plan, purpose and goal. The kingdom realized and fulfilled in heaven and earth is the purpose of the Almighty. God will use whatever entity, instrument or tool available to accomplish His purpose. It is His Kingdom at state. While the church is an earthly visible expression of the kingdom of God in the earth, the Kingdom of God is much greater thanthe church. Again, the point stands clear that the church is a mystery form of the Kingdom. But, presently the Kingdom of God is expressed and revealed in church.

What was Jesus Christ true purpose for coming to earth? What is the True Gospel message? What in the world is the Kingdom of God? Is there historical evidence for Christ existence here on earth? Was Christ really God in human flesh? The problem in the world today, as well as in the Church, is the fact that much is said about Christ with little to nothing is being said or understood about the Kingdom. Somehow people have separated the man from his message. R.W. Davis presents in Christology several theological subjects in regards to Christ from the perspective of his Kingdom message. Christology goes against the grain of traditional Christianity and challenges the believer and the unbeliever to accept the true message of Christ and to come to an understanding of what has been made available as a result of the finish work of Jesus. The kingdom message as explained in Christology is not about escaping this world and going to heaven. The kingdom message is about mankind being restored back to God and reigning and ruling with God now and throughout eternity. God in Christ has granted us access to share his sovereignty. That is what the true gospel is all about and is the underlining idea that is being conveyed in Christology. Get ready to be enlightened with the truth of Gods word and to come to know the true purpose of Christ coming as well as the true purpose behind him dying for our sins.

Although the kingdom occupies a very crucial position in the Bible, many Christians have not understood it properly, accurately, or adequately. The messages in this book, given in a conference in 1972 in Los Angeles, present mainly the life side of the kingdom. While some chapters touch the doctrinal and objective side, the primary burden is the life side. May these chapters cause the Lord's children to soberly consider their responsibility toward the kingdom and to aspire to live today in the reality of the kingdom by the divine life so that they may enter into the enjoyment of the kingdom in its manifestation with the Lord in the coming age.
