Si este ltimo era el objeto que la circular de la Di reccion se propon-a conseguir siendo cosa tan sabida que sin monografias dificilmente podr escribirse nunca una buena his toria general, era tambien evidente que mejor que con meros datos y noticias sueltas que algo ms que con el envio de libros y volmenes, siempre embarazoso y p'rdidas oca sionado, podia llenarse aquel objeto remitiendo desde luego la historia de la Universidad ya hecha y mejor 6 peor escrita y ordenada.
