Rejecting the historiographical tendency to downplay the intellectual, theoretical element in Nazism, contends that Hitler developed a coherent worldview, which proposed a kind of secular theodicy. Hitler's philosophy, which represented an Enlightenment style of thought, can be compared to the philosophies of Marx and Freud; like them, Hitler replaced God with an idealized version of man - only his criterion of humanity was different from theirs: it was creativity. Thus, the Jew, who was considered as culturally sterile as well as an exploiter and seducer, came to serve as an "un-man" and the devil. The Jew's very existence was unnatural in Hitler's view. The demonization of Jews was arbitrary in Nazi ideology; what was essential was their diaspora existence, comparable with the similar existence of Germans, which provided an opportunity to project German self-hatred on them. Dwells on the place of the Jews in Hitler's geopolitics. States that the tendency to downplay Nazism intellectually, or to stress its paradoxality and pathology, detaches it from the stock of Western culture from which it in fact stemmed.

His father was a Lutheran church minister. After his secondary schooling he went to the University of Bonn to study Theology and Philosophy. But he was not really interested in these subjects so he changed to Philology. Nietzsche was also very interested in music. In his early years he read the German romantic writer Friedrich Hölderlin and later on Schopenhauer. Friedrich Nietzsche began very early with his writings, mostly commentaries about ancient Greek philosophers. In January 1971 he started with one of his own big works, Geburt der Tragödie. Untill his physical collapse, Nietzsche wrote a lot of books and gave us a huge body of philosophical work. In his writings he proclaimed the death of god and a new kind of human super being; he wanted to establish a new moral understanding without a Christian background. When we read his books we often hear about Übermensch, Wille zur Macht und Umstürzung aller Werte. Hitler used these and other early writings about Jewish people to justify his ideology and his genocide. We do not know if Hitler ever read Nietzsche but there is a similarity between his writings and the writings of Nietzsche. Nazi philosophers and anti-Nazi philosophers have argued over Nietzsche. Who was right? Throughout history a lot of people have wanted to establish whether Nietzsche can be blamed for Nazism or not.

Martin Heidegger is perhaps the twentieth century's greatest philosopher, and his work stimulated much that is original and compelling in modern thought. A seductive classroom presence, he attracted Germany's brightest young intellects during the 1920s. Many were Jews, who ultimately would have to reconcile their philosophical and, often, personal commitments to Heidegger with his nefarious political views. In 1933, Heidegger cast his lot with National Socialism. He squelched the careers of Jewish students and denounced fellow professors whom he considered insufficiently radical. Hitler and the NSDAP are a social and historical phenomenon, and this book proposes that Hitler’s Aspergic personality and postmodern philosophy combined to enable both his personal political success and then the nature of the regime that he constructed. Hitler himself was clearly not a normal human being; genius and exceptional in some areas, his Asperger’s enabled him to single-mindedly pursue personal and political power. Nietzsche’s crystallisation of the previous century and a half of German idealism in a rigorous moral and cultural nihilism, was reified and rolled out with Weberian bureaucratic and Prussian militaristic efficiency. The post modern state created did not rest on history, religious or cultural traditions. Ideology was shaped instrumentally in order to yield the maximal amount of the only currency that survives the caustic deconstruction of postmodernism, namely power itself.
