A generalized hybrid distance measure of a single value neutrosophic set (SVNS) is proposed to analyze the patient’s factors and diseases. Since Neutrosophic Set (NS) may communicate contradictory and ambiguous information, it is a crucial and useful tool for modelling uncertainty information. A distance measure for NS information is a key tool that is always employed in many approaches including medical diagnostics. Several distance measures in NS can be found in the literature, however, only a few of them proposed hybrid techniques. This paper aims to develop a new distance measure by considering exponential function and to define new hybrid distance measures for NS. The work also includes the formulation of the properties and application in the medical diagnosis for the validity phase. This study examines the possibility of cardiac problems in pregnant women. The eight factors considered in this study are age, obesity, smoking, family pathological history, personal pathological history, electrocardiogram, ultrasound, and functional class. The generalized hybrid distance measure has been used to discuss the factors of six different diseases, present consistent results.

Single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) is an important contrivance for directing the decision-making queries with unknown and indeterminant data by employing a degree of “acceptance”, “indeterminacy”, and “non-acceptance” in quantitative terms. Under this set, the objective of this paper is to propose some new distance measures to find discrimination between the SVNSs. The basic axioms of the measures have been highlighted and examined their properties. Furthermore, to examine the relevance of proposed measures, an extended TOPSIS (“technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution”) method is introduced to solve the group decision-making problems. Additionally, a new clustering technique is proposed based on the stated measures to classify the objects. The advantages, comparative analysis as well as superiority analysis is given to shows its influence over existing approaches.

In this article, we present deterministic single objective economic order quantity model with limited storage capacity in neutrosophic environment. We consider variable limit production cost and time dependent holding cost into account. Here we minimize total average cost of proposed model by applying neutrosophic geometric programming, which is obtained by extending existing fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy geometric programming for solving resultant non-linear optimization model. Next we consider numerical application to show that optimal solution obtained by neutrosophic geometric programming is more desirable than that of crisp, fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy geometric programming. Also we perform sensitivity analysis of parameters and present key managerial insights. Finally we draw the conclusions.
